Such a lovely cottage and would say even better than the photos! Great that the river doesn’t have motorised boats and very quiet with just the one cottage further up. A little slippy to get in on the rocks but once you’ve done it once and got a route it is all good! Great communication from Yolanda with detailed instructions. Thank you!

Tres bel endroit , cabane bien aménagé , accès très facile, le petit déjeuné est bon. Effectivement le prix est un peu élevé.

Parfait moment de repos dans la Cabana seuls au milieu de la nature. Merci pour cet accueil nous reviendrons !

A wonderful experience! Me, my boyfriend and our furry friend loved the beautiful view, the privacy and the fact that the trails were pleasantly walkable. Transport luggage ourselves using a sled, from the parking lot and up the mountain to the cabin, was a challenging but an enjoyable way to start the experience. We had access to some donut sleds by the beach area, with a sleding trail descending to the shore of lake Démélée where we had a breathtaking view. The elevated cabin placement offers a panoramic point of view. Overall we loved our stay! The host provided clear instructions as well as a mini handbook about local attractions, activities and maps to help us navigate through the trails. We will be back for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Le chalet est très bien avec les commodités nécessaires. La vue sur le Fjord est un gros plus pour en prendre plein les yeux. Les petits-déjeuners étaient aussi parfait et copieux. Bien situé, à proximité de beaucoup de randonnées et activités! Je recommande à 100% cette pépite 😍

Notre séjour a été très agréable. Le logement correspondait très bien à la description. Nous avons du utiliser la voiture pour la plupart de nos ballades en sentier, mais le quartier était aussi très agréable pour s'y promener.

The listing could be a bit clearer on the tuning water, bathroom and electrical situation.

We enjoyed this stay, but it wasn't clear from the listing just how off the grid it was. No electrical outlets (though there was an arrangement for charging devices), no cell coverage, no WiFi, no running water (equipped with a very effective pump from a well for drinking water, and a supply of non-potable water for showers, etc.). Would absolutely recommend it, but you should know what you're getting into :-)

This was hands down the best Airbnb that I have stayed at. Everything went smoothly and we were very impressed with the lake house. This was such a perfect romantic getaway for us! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. The space was excellently decorated, cleaned very well, and the temperature of the cottage was easily controllable. Also, the main floor washroom was very nice with heated floors and very strong shower pressure. I really appreciated the axe and the amount of firewood that was provided. It made starting a fire very easy and we were never short on kindling. Though, this is important to note for those with kids. We had planned to use the parking spots at the top of the hill due to snow in the forecast, but these were not usable since mud pits were created from snow melt and rainwater. Regardless, our SUV had no issues whatsoever with accessing the driveway of the lake house. We would 100% stay here again, such a great spot and an even better host!

Rustic tree cabin as described by Arthur. It was perfect for a mini-camping-esque trip. We enjoyed the small paddle in the canoe, the campfire, and the wood stove.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce microchalet! Très confortable et chaleureux! Seul petit inconvénient est que nous voyions le chalet voisin mais en fermant la toile nous avions suffisamment d’intimité. Merci pour le beau séjour!

Partir dans les Bois fin octobre evidemment il peut faire froid, donc Je recommanderais d’y aller un peu plus tot (il aurait ete bien que le chauffage soit allume un peu avant notre arrivee car il avait fait -8 la nuit precedente, et -2 notre premiere nuit ; et notamment pour “chauffer” la literie) et aussi pour profiter des couleurs des arbres. Mais nous etions seuls sur le site et vivre dans ces Bois Et sur le lac sans personne d’autre que les castors et autres animaux a ete une experience inoubliable et tres benefique. La Cabane perchee est magnifique et magique. Chambre en haut tres confortable, sofa bed ok en bas. Communication pas tres reactive avant le voyage mais sur place tres bien (aide au chauffage, apport eau). Les cabines de douche à l’accueil : luxe. A la belle periode, activites sur le lac, yoga etc. avec les enfants aussi a mon avis incroyable. Bref, une experience inoubliable que nous garderons mon fils & moi pour toujours dans nos esprits et nos coeurs 🙏🏻💫 💚🌳.

wow! c'était de tout beauté. nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour. nous cherchions une place pour se ressourcer et c'était l'endroit parfait. sans réseau, tranquille dans le bois. c'était vraiment parfait. le propriétaire est super gentil et nous nous sommes senti a l'aise dans le refuges. nous prévoyons y retourner avec nos enfants cette été. encore une fois wow!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Christian. La cabane était très confortable, avec tout l'équipement nécessaire pour un petit séjour à deux. Le cadre est très calme et magnifique, particulièrement sous la neige ! Le sauna et le jacuzzi (partagés avec une autre cabane) étaient excellents. Merci à Christian pour son accueil et sa gentillesse !

This is the perfect place to kickstart a Cabot trail trip and they really have thought of everything. The facilities are amazing and they have gone the extra mile to make sure it’s easy to make use of it all eg instructions for the sauna (extra towels, clogs etc etc), a well stocked kitchen with all the appliances and boxes/fridge space for each cabin, lighting around the site makes it easy to locate things at night, even toiletries in the outdoor shower. We love to cook ourselves when we are away and they made it really easy - we loved the cookhouse and how homely it felt. We also loved the sauna - easy to use and they had everything ready for use close by. Just amazing, so much fun. We wish we’d known as we would have stayed two nights. Loved it - thank you!
