The house is in a prime area of the city, near the beach and the mouth of the Douro River. It's a quiet area with many restaurants and bars, a traditional market, and an organic food store. A municipal garden and a bicycle rental shop are close by. Transports: bus, tram, tourist bus and cab. Free parking in the area. We recommend a trip to the city park and if you like to eat good fish or seafood go to Matosinhos city where you find many restaurants. Matosinhos is a land of fishermen.

The Green Cottage is located 1 min near the quiet rural entrance of the City Park, leading to Foz and Matosinhos beaches and surf schools (20 min walking). Across the street you will find a direct public transport to the city center (30min). The Cottage, rebuild and decorated by us, has a cozy vintage indoor environment, a queen size bed, a full equipped kitchenette and a big wooden balcony surrounded by a pleasant garden. A very relaxing place within the vibrant and urban environment of Porto.

My house is located in a very friendly and traditional neighbourhood near Boavista roudabout and Casa da Música concert hall. If you are a tourist that likes to leave the house and be immediately among other tourists this might not be the best choice for you.
