Frio Riverside Retreat

Hidden down in a canyon on the Frio River, this cabin offers a home base for exploring the Texas Hill country. Take a short walk to your own private river access. Walk up the road for several river road crossing and more crystal clear water to explore. Cook at home in the well equipped kitchen or drive 15 minutes to Leakey to dine at many of the local restaurants. Slow down and enjoy the sunset sets, moon rises and stars on the front porch in a comfortable rocker while watching the hummingbirds!

Looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the city? Our Glamper is a simple place to camp for a couples get-away, small family get-away, or the weekend hunting trip....a place to enjoy Hill country sunsets , gaze at the wide open starry skies, and breathe in good ole’ country air. We are located in Rio Frio, TX just up the road from the beautiful Frio River. This Texas Hill Country farm offers, dark skies, natural rivers and a state of mind that is only found here. On 60 acres, lots of dirt roads, and a rough rocky dry creek to explore. hummingbirds, jack rabbits, deer to keep you amused. Several clear cool swimming holes on the Nueces River just minutes away. Amadeo at the Frio Private getaway with pool & spa

"Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Little Blue Cabin

The Little Blue Cabin is located in the rural countryside approximately 15 minutes from Leakey, Tx. If you're looking for a cozy peaceful place to stay, then this is it! We have a (semi) private river access that is aprox. 1/2 mile away, where you can park and enjoy the beautiful Frio! Garner State Park - 30 min Lost Maples SNA - 45 min Fredericksburg, Tx - 1.5hr

Imagine a couple of days in the Texas Hill Country in a guest house that is totally yours, it is shaded by pecan trees, you have access to one mile of both sides of the river(the Dry Frio). Experience abundant wildlife, migrating birds/ hummingbirds and butterflies, stargaze and be able to hike up Lookout Hill and feel comfortable during your stay at Moriah's Riverwalk. You are within 18 miles of the Concan area. Your stay here at our bunkhouse will be safe, quiet, and peaceful.

The Cozy Cabin @ Whiskey Mountain Great Location!

My place is close to family-friendly activities, Garner state park (3 miles), Lost Maples state park, Frio river crossings, Leakey, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, Uvalde, three sisters bike roads. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night. Pets Fees billed after you book, b/c there is no option on Airbnb. The Cozy is located towards the front of our 17 acres about 75 ft from Hwy 83.

Tiny House on the Frio River

Tiny House on the Frio is a cozy get-away situated in the Frio Canyon on five acres in the spectacular Texas Hill Country and less than 100 yards walking distance to private Frio River frontage. The perfect setting for adult couples only, that want to get away for a peaceful and quiet stay away from the crowds. Located five miles north of Leakey, fifteen minutes from Garner State Park, thirty-six miles away from Lost Maples State Park and 82 miles to Fredricksburg.

Vacation home for your family to getaway from it all. Enjoy the amazing wildlife and bird watching any time of year along this part of the river. The Frio River is spring fed, cool and refreshing great for kayaking, tubing, swimming, fishing, or just hanging out with friends and family. Nearby restaurants, stores, antique shops and museums are fun to explore. Year round Frio River vacation homes are perfect to accommodate large or small groups.

If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, this is your spot. You won't see many cars pass by on Ranch Road 336. You will see deer, cattle, birds and other wildlife. Star gazing at night is a treat! The property is 18 miles north of Leakey, so it is easy to get to the Frio River and find good places to eat or drive to one of the state parks nearby. Garner State Park and Los Maples are fun day trips.
