This is the main residence at Maple Hills Estate, with breathtaking views and a private back yard with a sauna. The wrap around porch offers views of the river and the surrounding mountains. This is the best place to unplug and unwind.

If you would like to spend some time among the redwoods, this is the place -- the small village of Shively. It is near the Eel River for fishing, swimming or just enjoying laying in the warm sunshine. In just a short drive, you can be on the Avenue of the Giants, Founders Grove or Rockefeller Forest where you can view and/or hike among the beauty of the redwoods. Further north is the Victorian village of Ferndale, the ocean or Humboldt Bay.

Colorful corner has a private entrance & bath!

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.
