This is everything you could ask for and more. Shops and downtown life are within 30 minutes and you get the peace and quiet of a getaway without needing to go anywhere if you don’t want to. The hosts were great and the town is quaint. I highly recommend to any family who wants to relax, unwind, and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

A beautiful, historical home. Walkable location- easy to get to restaurants and shopping. The home has plenty of room for a large group of people! The home is well decorated, well thought out- including labels everywhere so you can find what you need. The rooms and beds were cozy. My kids enjoyed a game of hide and seek in this massive place! The kitchen was a dream to cook in! Cale was an amazing host- super responsive, so helpful and kind! Would definitely stay again!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

Our stay at Xavier's home was amazing - the property is beautiful (especially the kitchen and master bathroom!!) and the kids loved the heated pool! It's close to an adorable downtown area and just down the street from "The Desert of Maine" (which was so cool, definitely recommend to check out - and with mini golf right next door too!). Xavier was very responsive to our questions and helpful with volunteering useful information - it was clear how much he cares about ensuring his guests have the best experience possible. Our kids didn't want to leave! We had an incredible time, and you will too :)

BEAUTIFUL Home!! Tons of space to relax and spread out with our family! The beds were very comfortable! We really appreciated all of the bathrooms for our group! The kitchen was huge and so handy for preparing meals! I absolutely loved the style and atmosphere of this wonderful home! We also loved being able to bring our dogs!! We had a lovely time and we would most definitely come back!!! 🥰

Alison’s house was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog. She was very responsive to messages leading up to our stay. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It was only 15 min from Portland so very easy to get into the city. It was also in a nice quiet area. I recommend it to anyone in the Portland area.

Great place to stay if u need to be away from everything

This is the second time that we stayed at Allen's place, and we have already booked a stay for 2025. The condo is clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It is located in a great location to explore the coast, head north one day, and south the next, etc. It is quiet and secure and Allen and Cheryl are quick to answer questions. I can't recommend their place highly enough!!

Laurie was super communicative and the condo was GREAT! Had view of water, was clean and lots of space. Lots to do on the property with kids /teens: basketball court, volleyball, tennis, golf and more. The weather was not terrific, but between the heated pool, the activities and the closeness to Camden, there was lots to do.
