Porumbacu treehouse is the perfect place for a vacation, immersed in a small forest right in the heart of Porumbacu, a mountain village in Transylvania. Two rivers cross the property and you will wake up very day in a deep green landscape. Escape from the busy weekdays life and find the relaxing and quiet way of living. In addition, in the front yard there is our Transylvanian guesthouse where you will find other facilities for a pleasant stay: fully equipped kitchen, wifi barbecue, kiosk, etc.

Dorna TreeHouse started as a personal project, born from a childhood dream - a treehouse nestled in nature, where you can escape the noise of the city and fully embrace peace and quiet. Refined over time, it now welcomes couples and families in search of the unique - a place to reconnect, to explore and to simply breathe. A living spruce rises through the heart of the cabin, its scent of fresh resin is a reminder that here, nature isn’t just outside your window. It’s part of the experience.

The apartment is part of a traditional transylanian farmhouse, with a private entryway. The rooms are freshly restored and offer a cozy and calm ambiance. Breakfast is included and consists of delicious, organic and local ingredients, most of them actually being produced on the farm, that you are welcome to visit. Farm to table dinner is available as well, upon request beforehand (at least two days before arrival). We make equisite cheese, butter, charcuterie and other delicious treats.

'Inside, The Village' is a "village within a village." It consists of 5 old wooden houses, relocated from Maramures. They are designed to provide guests with a second home, privacy and comfort. Can accomodate up to 6adults (or combination adult/kids) + 1 crib for a baby. COVID 19: The entire property complies with the necessary cleaning and disinfection rules during the Covid19 pandemic. At the border between Transylvania and Muntenia, it offers easy access to both Bran, Sinaia, and Brasov area as well as the south of Romania.
