PERFECT in every way. Hosts, accessibility, location, interaction, food, local community events, and bus timetables, with so much more. Next time, I will definitely take them up on car hire. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay, already looking at booking later in the year.

This place is a goldmine! If you’re looking to get away from the resorts and enjoy a stunning beach then here is where you need to book. The views and the pool were gorgeous. Carl was quick to respond to anything we asked or needed. I highly recommend this amazing apartment. It’s got air conditioning, all the kitchen equipment you need, not that we used it except for the coffee machine, he even allows you to use snorkel gear and kayak. Carl has to be one of the most gracious hosts ever! It’s right next to a little bar and fish market. The huge glass doors open to beauty and splendor. It’s a bit of trek down to Bridgetown, but that’s what we wanted. Our only complaint was the water pressure in the shower. There’s not much of it and so showering wasn’t the best. But I assure you - it’s doable. The view and the host more than make up for the shower!!

It was a pleasure interacting with Heather, she was responsive and accommodating. Her place was as described, clean and cozy.

Bel emplacement un peu à l’écart des centres touristiques, mais les voies de communication sont faciles d’accès en voiture (à seulement 20 minutes de Holetown en voiture). Un peu bruyant, mais on s’y fait rapidement. Superbe vue que l’on peut profiter grâce au balcon. Logement très propre et fonctionnel pour cuisiner. Wifi un peu faible. Idéal pour un séjour de moyenne durée, on se sent comme à la maison. Excellent pied à terre pour visiter l’entièreté de l’île en raison de son emplacement.

We recently stayed at Betty's place for a week. The place is large, well appointed and well maintained. We slept very well, and appreciated the fully equipped kitchen for making our own meals and reheating leftovers. We also liked having a washing machine and dryer, as well as access to a clothesline. Betty is a wonderful host, and was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. It is a short drive to Heywoods Beach, and lots of restaurants and shops in Speightstown. Thank you very much Betty for making our stay so comfortable. We now know where to stay on our next visit to Barbados. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time! The location was ideal. I would definitely recommend renting a car if you're staying here. The hosts were incredibly helpful Laura went above and beyond by getting us a quote from a local car rental and arranged it for about £100 less than what we found online. I do have a couple of minor drawbacks, I would have liked having a private outdoor space, but this isn’t a criticism of the hosts since the property description was accurate. While aircon is listed as available, we got a message after booking stating that its use is limited and that extra charges apply for excessive use. We were informed that running the aircon can be quite expensive. There was even a sign to remind us to limit use. The host came down asking us to turn the aircon off because she thought we had it running all day and was worried about the motor overheating. We only had it on that morning and again in the evening for about an hour when she asked. Aside from that, we had a lovely stay!

Lovely, bright studio apartment with huge balcony terrace. The views are amazing! Enjoyable bird song and other wildlife, including monkey spotting, right outside. The amenities withing the studio are more than expected. 5 min walk down to the beach and local restaurant, though we personally preferred Thunder beach, just 5 min bus ride away. We would definitely come back again.

We had a very relaxing and restful stay at Ashanti #5. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. Gibbe’s beach is only a short walk and the yellow bus is easily accessible to travel to other beaches along the west coast. Close to supermarkets and many great restaurants. We will be back!

Angela is an amazing host, who looked after us and advised us about what to do and how to get to places. Nothing was ever a problem for her. I arrived with my son and she made sure we had shopping and knew where we needed to be for my partners' arrival on an Ocean Rowing boat. The accommodation is very private and secure, though it was difficult to find at first. I would highly recommend this apartment for a holiday in Barbados

Lisa was friendly and very helpful from the point of initial contact and throughout our stay. Apartment is in a beautiful location. Although Port St Charles is a sizeable marina, it always felt private and was peaceful. All staff onsite were professional, friendly and helpful. Complimentary water taxi service was very much appreciated, between apartment to beach, pool and restaurant areas. Saying that all were within walking distance too. Both of Lisa's housekeeping ladies were friendly and did a superb job. Would certainly recommend this property.

I had a wonderful stay with Juliette and Alexandra! The property is just a quick 5-minute drive from all the action in Speightstown, yet it feels peaceful and secluded. The beach is right across the road - such a perfect spot! The apartment was clean, the internet was fast so I could work easily, and it had everything I needed. Wish I could’ve stayed longer - I’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Chitra greeted us with a warm welcome and went above and beyond with everything from ensuring we were well stocked with toiletries to answering all of our questions. The unit is well equipped and well located. We hope to return again soon!

Just had a wonderful stay at Schooner Bay in Speightstown. Well appointed, lovely apartment with pool and ocean views. Serene beach. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. But best of all the community - incredible staff at Schooner Bay, kind local residents. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed at 204 Mistle Cove for one week. The location is right in the heart of Lawrence Gap with all restaurants and amenities within walking distance. The apartment itself is just as advertised, although the view is actually nicer than the pictures. The main room sleeps with a broadview of the ocean and the calming sounds of waves. The patio is spacious and perfect for breakfast , lunch and dinners in front of the ocean. My daughter loved the pool and the ocean front was a lot of fun with the high waves. A calmer and longer beach was only a two min walk from the apartment at Dover. Overall, we had everything we could have needed here, and would easily stay again if we go back to Barbados.

We were travelling as a family of three and our stay was exactly what we wanted. The accommodation was spacious and well appointed, the grounds were immaculate and the pool facilities and restaurant were superb. The added bonus of the fairmont beach access made our stay even more enjoyable.

My family and I spent three unforgettable nights at Amore Schooner Bay recently and everything exceeded our expectations. The villa itself is modern, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering all the comforts of luxury living with a warm, homely feel. The location is unbeatable. Just steps from the villa lies the beach for the kids in the morning. And being right on the edge of Speightstown meant we were within walking distance of some of the island’s best dining options. Local & Co. was a standout for brunch where we ate steps away from the beach while the kids played. Amore Schooner Bay gave us the perfect blend of relaxation, convenience, and local charm. We couldn’t have asked for a better family getaway and are already dreaming of our return.

Stunning location! Beautiful beach! Host was there to greet us and gave us a tour. Easy communication. No issues. Terrace was fantastic to have meals and hang out with gorgeous views of waves and overlooking lawn area, pools and hot tub with loungers. We loved our stay and would return. Nice boutique hotel nextdoor for drinks and meals out. Close to Gap for many restaurants! Many thanks to Lorna, house manager, for running to catch me to give me my forgotten coat before my Uber pulled away to the airport!

Our stay in Barbados was excellent. Anna and Elma are very easy to reach and do everything to make you feel comfortable with them. The apartment is a little out of the way so you definitely need a car. Since the apartment is located directly on the sea, it gets very windy. We had a great time there and we didn't miss anything. We would recommend the apartment at any time. Anna thank you for everything. We promised Elma to come back :-)

Highly recommend! Jo the host is phenomenal and went above and beyond to ensure our stay went well. She was very quick to respond and provided so many great recommendations for us. We could not have asked for a better host. The area is wonderful, we were very comfortable the entire time, and we had everything you would want. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, patio are all great! Very clean and super spacious. We had a fantastic stay at Magnus’ condo in Barbados! From the start, Magnus was a wonderful host. Very responsive and even took the time to personally welcome us. The condo was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook meals comfortably. The location is excellent: about a 10-minute drive to St. Lawrence Gap, or a 25-minute walk if you prefer. Oistins Fish Market and the supermarket are also within a 20-minute walk. It was really convenient having taxis available right at the entrance, with rides to Rockley Beach or St. Lawrence Gap costing around 30 BBD$. The condo itself is set on a quiet back road, it was very peaceful and we weren’t disturbed by any street noise. We also appreciated how clean the pool was, even though we only used it once. Plus, the Bougainvillea Hotel is just a 5-minute walk away, and there are a few great bars and restaurants at 2 minutes walk we would definitely recommend Magnus’ condo
