Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Dans une charmante petite ville des côtes du Rhône, se situe un appartement décoré avec goût et équipé de tout confort. (climatisation, salle de bain spacieuse, douche à l’italienne et literie de très grande qualité) Cet appartement se trouve à 800 mètres à pied du fameux Théâtre Antique, idéal pour vos soirées aux Chorégies d’Orange. Des places de parking sont à votre disposition devant l’appartement. Le bien ne possède pas de cuisine, vous disposez toutefois d’un coin petit-déjeuner.

Mon logement est proche du centre ville, la place aux herbes, les commerces, les restaurants, les transports en commun. Vous apprécierez mon logement pour sa proximité du centre ville, le confort, l'emplacement. Mon logement est parfait pour les couples avec ou sans enfants (2 maxi), les voyageurs en solo et les voyageurs d'affaires. Parking pour une voiture disponible. Produits de base pour le petit déjeuner disponibles dans le logement. La superficie totale du logement est de 33 m2.

Dans la salle de bain, vous trouverez une double vasque ainsi qu une douche. Dans la cuisine, tout le nécessaire pour réchauffer vos plats vous attend. Inclus place privée.

Charming and Peaceful house, 5 min from Avignon...

It is a very old little house which was part of the abbey in the Middle Ages. It was the monk ancient independant cell who was in charge of the vegetable garden of the monastery. In order to reach it, you must go through the monumental portal of the monastery in the little street where the workshops of the Chartreuse are located! It is available from April 1st till October 31st (during winter, the guests travel themselves to discover the world with Airbnb. fr of course!)

Ecolodge Turtledove includes a large double bed, a walk-in shower, separate toilets, and a private terrace. Homemade breakfasts are included in the price. The pool is shared with the other ecolodge; both can be booked together to accommodate four. Your hosts will remain discreet but are at your disposal should you require anything.

Elle dispose de tout le confort moderne : sdb, toilettes, tv, climatisation réversible, machine a café, mini bar, micro onde... Le jacuzzi 2 personnes est chauffé toute l'année à 37 degré et est en libre accès durant toute la durée de votre séjour. Vous êtes seul au monde en pleine nature, la cabane n'a pas de vis à vis.
