Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Salt Spring Gite

Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

Alfred House - Ruckle Heritage Farm

The Alfred Ruckle House is a Victorian style Heritage home from 1900's on a working farm inside Ruckle Provincial Park. Set off the road with private drive & large fenced yard. Step into our time capsule farmhouse. You have the entire period home including four rooms in the upstairs can be rented to one group, sharing the upstairs bathroom. This accommodation provides use of the kitchen and outdoor BBQ & furniture. Includes 3/4 acre fenced yard. EV charger at your host's home available.
