There is a private hiking trail steps away with sweeping views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Note: • No campfires allowed • No potable water • Pets allowed (fenced-in area onsite)

Adjacent to the North Fork of the Consumnes River off of Hwy 49, this is an off-grid, no-frills minimalistic camp for climbers and backpackers. This is the site of a former miners camp and we are in the process of turning it into an idyllic location to be, however, we are early in this transformation process, so right now we are offering only the minimum, which is just access- bring your own tent, water, food, etc. We have several flat areas for pitching a tent on grass or the beach.
