We had a wonderful two-night stay over our wedding weekend, and Hazel was an exceptional host. She was quick to respond to all our queries and made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. There were so many thoughtful little “Mr & Mrs” touches that made the stay feel really special — from the roses to the delicious fudge, everything added a lovely personal touch. We also really appreciated the breakfast bits provided, like milk, croissants, jams, and tea — such a thoughtful gesture. The kitchen was well equipped, and the home is located on a beautiful street surrounded by charming houses in a perfect location. Another big bonus was the great parking, which is hard to come by in Edinburgh. Thank you, Hazel, for helping make our weekend so memorable!

WOW stunning place in a great location , we were made welcome , the cabin was fantastic and well equipped with everything we needed , location was easy to find and parking was great even for our Camper . The Hemmel, Old Town Farm

The Hemmel was a really nice cottage to stay in. It's probably one of the best airbnb's we've been to. Kate was very nice and helpful. The photos don't do it justice as it's even better in the flesh. We were a family of 4 including a baby and it was super comfortable. The cottage is very private and peaceful. The lambs were out when we were there and we saw the red squirrel in garden each day. We'd would definitely return.

Bartlehill, Idyllic Cottage with Amazing Views

It would be difficult to describe this cottage. It is simply stunning. From stepping out of the car to the fragrance in the garden to the bird song in the trees, it is beautiful. The private garden and woodland are just lovely and were fantastic for our little dogs. The cottage has everything you could think of. It is warm and cosy and the log burner is lovely. We travel to the Borders to visit friends and we all made use of the BBQ and games room. We absolutely loved it. The table tennis is great fun and the games room as a whole offers something a little bit special. This is our favourite cottage in 30 years of visiting the area. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome gifts are a really thoughtful touch. The beds are really comfortable, the showers are great and you could not feel more at home. Lowri is lovely as a host and could not be more helpful. We booked to come back on day one!

Bread Oven Cottage - a cosy slice of history

The Bread oven was very comfortable, well equipped and furnished particularly if you want to cook your own meals. The china, cutlery and utensils were all of a much better quality than most Airbnbs .We enjoyed being to sit in an attractive garden. The home made bread, shortbread biscuits, fruit juice, butter, milk and jam were much appreciated and Andy and Sue were helpful and friendly hosts. It was also very useful to be able to charge our EV car on site. We were sent a comprehensive log book before we arrived with gave a lot of useful and helpful information about the cottage and the area. There was plenty of storage space both for clothes and food. We hope to return to explore more of the area than 3 days allowed.

lovely place to stay! will definitely be booking again in the future loved even the small things like having games for to play with, welcome package, having wifi and also speaker to use. The only thing we said was that we wish it had abit more privacy around the hot tub but that’s just personal opinion thank you so much for a wonderful and memorable stay

Silver Birch Cottage with stunning view

We had a lovely stay at Silver Birch Cottage. A very peaceful location with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. The cottage was a true home from home with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean. Our daughter loved the cows and sheep. We all enjoyed time in the games room too. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and Ann was a delightful host along with Ginny and Prince the dogs. We were supplied with delicious homemade shortbread on arrival. We visited Eyemouth with its lovely harbour. Had lovely meals at The Auld Bank and Giacopazzi’s. The swimming pool at Dunbar had excellent flumes and waves. The Craw Inn provided a stunning Sunday roast. We also travelled to nearby Duns, then further afield to Jedburgh and Melrose. Had a pre booked afternoon tea at The Schloss Roxburgh. After we packed up, we had breakfast at The Cedar Cafe before heading home. We will definitely return as the area has so much to see and do.

Beautiful Garden House with off-street parking

This is such a beautiful and peaceful place nestled within a secluded residential area, and yet only around 10 minutes' walk from the Meadows. The house had the magical combination of being spotlessly clean and cosy, with lots of details to make you feel right at home. The design and furnishing of the house was really lovely, too, with plenty of space and storage. I particularly loved the window seat for reading in the corner. Howard and Kathleen were excellent hosts, with super-fast and friendly communication and providing some lovely food and drink as a welcoming gift. I had a fabulous week's stay and hope to be back!

Pentland Hills cottage hideaway

Wonderful stay. The location is absolutely superb. What amazing views and so peaceful and remote. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the hills was pure bliss!! And the stars you could see on a clear night, wow. Despite being so remote it’s close enough to Edinburgh that you can drive in and do all the attractions. So just perfect. Kylie was a fab host too, leaving Easter eggs for the kids and letting the kids feed her kunekune pig one day! The animals are great, especially Karen then hen, although she will come inside if allowed haha! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Kylie

Luxury Edinburgh Period Property

We were a group of 6 and the moment we walked into house, we all felt like home. A spacious home with an outstanding interior design, super cosy. The kitchen was well staffed (best kitchen we‘ve ever had in an Airbnb). For the first morning David and his wife left us everything we needed for a proper breakfast. Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful home 😊 Absolutely recommended.

Pentland Hills Chalet

Eine schöne Unterkunft unweit von Edinburgh. Diese Unterkunft ist schön gelegen, mit einer tollen Aussicht. Nach Edinburgh fährt man mit dem Auto zwischen 15-30 min., je nachdem wo man parken will und wie der Verkehr ist. Um Parkplätze zu finden haben wir die App „JustPark“ genutzt. Die hatte ich in Schottland entdeckt und die war sehr hilfreich. Vom Flughafen fährt man etwa 15 min mit dem Auto zur Unterkunft. Etwas aufpassen muss man, dass man die Einfhart nicht verpasst, im dunklen ist sie schwer zu erkennen. Da wäre sicherlich eine Art Reflektor hilfreich. Einen Parkplatz gibt es auch direkt an der Unterkunft, es wäre sogar Platz für mehrere Autos. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man hat alles, was man zum schlafen und kochen benötigt. Wir waren zu dritt dort (meine Frau, ihr Bruder und ich) und wir hatten auch kein Problem damit, dass alles in einem Zimmer war (beide Betten und Küche). Es ist schön gemütlich und hat sich wie ein zuhause angefühlt. Vielen Dank!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was immaculate! Laura was very helpful in providing tips on how to get to the main tourist destinations. We loved the location and would highly recommend for a stay in Edinburgh!

Gabriela and her partner were warm, welcoming and responsive to queries ,friendly and with flexible check in. the room they given to us was spotless, cozy and made like a home away from home. the location of the room is 25 mins away from the city and well connected to buses 24/7 Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a true taste of Edinburgh hospitality. best wishes Srini and viji❤️

A brilliant place to stay as a small family. It’s not slap bang in Edinburgh but all the better for it: blissfully quiet (you really cannot hear the airport), a genuinely beautiful garden to relax in, but just 5 minutes drive from the free park and ride, which is 20 minutes into central Edinburgh. And made all the better by hosting from Robert, who was super friendly, a genuine pleasure to chat to, but without being at all intrusive. Would firmly recommend.

We had a great time (2 couples) and we would really have liked to have stayed longer but work gets in the way! Kath & Ken were responsive and always helpful but not obtrusive. Maybe a little expensive but you pay for what you get.

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn’s place. It was clean, beautifully furnished and decorated and had everything we needed. So many nice touches and extras not often found in airbnbs. The bar area and game room looked so fun, I only wished we had more time to enjoy it all!

Exactly as advertsied, clean, comfortable and most importantly for us, it was a quiet area, ideal for what we wanted which was a nice little get away from the city but also close enough to dip in whenever we wanted to. Hosts were very friendly and very responsive. Would book again if possible.
