Carmen's home is a real gem. The location is perfect. Located in a nice village in the mountains and it's at the trail head to some amazing walking/running/cycling. It's an easy walk into the village where there is a good shop and a choice of restaurants. The house has everything a family could want for a tranquil holiday. highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house is not only stunning but also very practical, with breathtaking views and a peaceful, huge garden in addition to the tennis court and the pool. The energy of the place is truly special—we really felt at home. A heartfelt thank you to Diego, who was incredibly responsive, helpful, and professional at every step. It was a fantastic experience, and we would love to come back!

We had our wedding at this beautiful villa and also spent several days here with our guests—it was truly unforgettable. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The garden is stunning and the views created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. They prepared the catering with traditional food, and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly recommended!

My husband and 6mo old daughter had a wonderful stay! We were provided with a crib which was perfect. It is as dreamy as it is in pictures and located in a small town on the coast. There are a few options for eating that are walking distance, perfect for our 3 night stay. The market is not far by car. We had a car and were able to take day trips to Sintra and the surrounding area, come back and relax to the sound of the ocean & watch the sunset at the local spot across the bridge.

The best AirBnb we've ever stayed in. Max's place is incredible. It's in the most beautiful part of Portugal, it's quiet, peaceful and the house is so beautiful. The garden is perfectly done, the views are epic from so many different spots around the house. The design and architecture is great. It really feels like a home. Really is the best AirBnb I have stayed in and we've stayed in quite a lot.

Sintra est une ville adorable mais impossible au niveau de la circulation surtout un long week-end . Il est difficile de déambuler à pied . La petite maison de Philippe est charmante et très agréable à vivre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. . Il faudrait aussi penser à changer les photos sur le site de réservation quand vous changez de décor. On avait choisi d'aller chez lui car il devait nous accueillir, mais il a eu hélas un empêchement ( ce que l'on peut comprendre). Ce qui est hélas fréquent , nous voyageons depuis un mois à travers le Portugal et sommes souvent soumis aux boites à clé et au non-accueil . Ceci dit , il a été très réactif au téléphone . Peut-être sommes nous d'une génération où l'humain prévaut sur la machine .

This house worked out very well for two families with kids. It's very big and spread out with lots of sleeping options. There's a tiny bit of wear and tear and we did have to buy/bring all of our own basic kitchen supplies like spices, oils, sugar, salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, shower soaps. But we loved that the house provided beach supplies like chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas and yoga mats. Nothing much in walking distance but several excellent beaches and places to eat within a few miles. The pool and ping pong table were fantastic and we would definitely recommend this place for a group of travelers. We had a fabulous time. :-)

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at this beautiful property with our family. The house accommodated us perfectly, offering plenty of space and comfort. The beds were incredibly cozy, and with three bathrooms, everyone had ample time and space to get ready before my sister's wedding in Sintra. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The garden was a lovely spot to relax, and the jacuzzi was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring. Check-in was seamless, and we were warmly greeted by a host who took the time to walk us through the property and share valuable tips about the surrounding area. This personal touch made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Fantastic stay at Carole’s cottage in Sintra. Really beautiful surroundings and Carole was an incredibly hospitable host. We hope to come back sometime to explore the rest Sintra has to offer!
