We thought it wasn't easy to pick a place in Chania, but Ioannis' place was a perfect choice. Located right across the street from a nice beach it was ideal for our small family. Ioannis let us check in early and despite not meeting him in person during check-in, we felt warmly welcomed. Everything we needed was there and he even left us fruit, water and chocolate, which was a nice touch. It was very child friendly and even had some beach toys and games. Warmly recommending it and would return - it's a true gem. Also, thank you for the assistance during our stay and the personal recommendations.

I spent 5 nights here with my mother and 10 year old daughter, and I have not one negative comment…the house is better than pictures! The beautiful gardens give it a feel like being in a movie, and there is beautiful beach literally a few steps outside the house. There is lots of great restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. We rented a car, but if you plan to just relax and stay close by, you don’t need one. There is also a bus that you jump on to take you to Old Chania. This place is perfect for families with young and older children. And it’s so comfortable you will not want to leave. Natalia, is so kind and sweet, and is near by should you need anything.

Highly recommend! A quiet area, close to everything. We stayed here start of October with our 14 yr old and 3 month old son. The apartment looks like the photos, very clean andy tidy. Very comfortable bed, was huge 💛. We had asked for a cot, which was there. The pool was lovely, very refreshing, solar heated. We were the only ones using it, due to out of main season, an unexpected luxury. The beach is a mix of sand and stones, literally just outside the gate. Within 10 mins walk is a supermarket, pharmacies, a patisserie with huge pain au chocolates - highly recommend, they also had pastries (cheese and bacon, mushroom and ham etc). If you walk along the sea front for about 20mins get into Gournes which has several beach bars, and restaurants/ cafes, we went to Taverna ambrosia, very good even had a baby change area (not everywhere has these) and soft play at the back. It’s a 45 min walk to the Creta aquarium, definitely worth a see. Ioannis arranged several taxis for us.

We hebben heerlijk gevonden van ons verblijf. Alles voldeed aan de beschrijving, en alles was kraaknet. De jacuzzi is in de lente zeker ook een meerwaarde om de frisse avonden door te komen. Het verblijf ligt dichtbij Matala, leuke dorpen en mooie stranden. Zeker de moeite!

La maison de Manolis est superbe, tout correspond parfaitement aux photos. C’est un endroit paisible et dans lequel on veut rester longtemps. Manolis est également un hôte très réactif et très bien organisé. Je recommande très fortement !!

This was one of the best houses I stayed in - really modern and great internal design. The two bathrooms are a rarity in Greece and we were really happy that we had them. We enjoyed the very comfortable beds and the pillows. A fully equipped kitchen was also a nice element to the perfect stay. Need to know that the village is on a hill and there is a narrow cobbled street (no direct access by car), but there is a small parking about 150m away from the house.

You could not ask for a more perfect location or better view. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with recommendations for sites, car rental, restaurant recommendations, etc. The property is very spacious and the hosts had very nicely stocked some treats and coffee station in the kitchen. There are lots of stairs if mobility is an issue. Only inconvenience was that there was only one key, so unless your group stays together the whole time, it does take some coordination.

Alkis is a super friendly host, and always responds so quickly. Once I didn’t know how to use the washing machine, he came in person just in five minutes! Also he gave me so many recommendations for local cuisine and tourist attractions. The apartment is well maintained and is in a rather perfect location, 10-15 minutes’ walk to the heart of the Old Town, and 1 minute’s walk just to the beachside. The parking place is easier to find compared to the old town, so it’s more friendly to self-drivers. Overall, highly recommended.

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Zeit bei Giannis. Er ist sehr gastfreundlich und hat immer sehr schnell auf Fragen reagiert. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, hat alle angegebenen Ausstattungen vorhanden und vor allem eine super Küche, die nichts missen lässt. Der Außenbereich ist sehr gemütlich und man hat einen tollen Meerblick, mit dem man jeden Abend Schiffe begutachten kann.

Die Unterkunft war toll, genau wie auf den Bildern. Der Ausblick und die ganze Garten- und Pool Anlage waren traumhaft. In der Gegend gab es zwei wunderschöne Strände, einen ruhigeren und einen mit mehreren Einkaufsläden und Restaurants. George war sehr hilfsbereit, wir haben von ihm sehr viele hilfreiche Tipps zu Unternehmungen, Restaurants, Einkaufsläden usw. bekommen. Auch bei Problemen (krankheitsbedingt) stand er uns hilfsbereit zur Seite.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene nell’appartamento estremamente pulito e ben fornito. La posizione è ottima in quanto è a pochi minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e dalle taverne in paese. L’host è stata molto gentile, fornendoci anche un ombrellone per andare in spiaggia. Ci torneremmo volentieri!

Upeat maisemat. Hyvä sijainti, lyhyt matka Haniaan, Rethymnoniin ja etelärannikollekin. Siistissä asunnossa aito kreikkalainen tunnelma. Linnut lauloivat ja kukko kiekui. Tullaan varmasti uudelleen.

Dimitris place was such a great find! It was easily walkable to Old Town and the beach. Not too far from the airport by taxi and lots to do everyday! Super great communication and friendliness also! I highly recommend!

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren 12-tägigen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Lage ist toll - nur ein paar Meter vom Strand entfernt und trotzdem 15 Minuten bis zur Altstadt. Einchecken mit schlüsselbox und Beschreibung war super einfach. Der Gastgeber hat immer extrem schnell geantwortet. Und ich meine wirklich schnell- ich habe nie länger als ein paar Minuten auf eine Reaktion gewartet. Er hat mir mit allen Fragen und Anliegen geholfen und mir sogar einem Regenschirm ausgeliehen und eine Yogamatte für meine Zeit besorgt. Wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und immer zur stelle! Die Wohnung ist gemütlich. Das Bett ist sehr bequem (das finde ich immer wichtig!). Das Sofa ist schon etwas durchgesessen - aber es hat mich nicht gestört. Die Küche ist ganz gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen richtigen Herd, Toaster, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle (die ich aber nicht benutz habe). Der Balkon ist groß und man hat morgens bis zum frühen Nachmittag sonne. Auf dem 2. Balkon gibts auch noch eine Waschmaschine!

This place is absolutely perfect for a stay in the city center. It has a lovely large balcony overlooking the park and is big and spacious. The place was cleaned perfectly and seemed brand new. Eleftheria communicated ahead of time and gave great information for sites and restaurants. We didn’t need anything so need to reach out but she communicated promptly and kindly. The only bummer was we were only there for one night and the fees (cleaning and Airbnb) was more than the nightly rate. But again the apartment was so clean it seemed like new. Great rooms with big tv in each bedroom and living room. Bathrooms were spacious and again impeccably clean. I would absolutely stay here again.

E' stata una piacevole esperienza, l'host è cordiale e simpatico, provvede a tutte le necessità. I locali erano stati ben puliti e ordinati, è una bella zona dove stare, c'è un accesso alla spiaggia a meno di 5 min a piedi!

So sollte Airbnb immer sein: zuverlässiger, reaktionsschneller und höflicher Gastgeber. Saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft. Klare Empfehlungen für die Gegend. Unkomplizierter Checkin und auch noch ein toller Bonus in Form von Früchten, Kaffee, Bier etc. 100%ige Weiterempfehlung.

Beautiful place exactly as described with everything you need for a longer stay. Very comfortable and relaxing. I really wish I had more time to stay. Hope I can stay here again next year for a little longer.
