This farmstay was absolutely magical. The room was spotless and cozy, with a soft bed that gave us perfect sleep. We were surprised by the thoughtful breakfast supplies—bread, jam, eggs, and milk, ready for two warm mornings. Dried flowers, vintage bedding, and the daisies blooming just outside the fence all created a breathtaking contrast between rugged charm and soft beauty. The kind of place where every corner seems curated by time and tenderness. Mochi and Timmy, the dogs, were friendly yet respectful. Wilmer the pig was our favorite like a chubby dog who responds when you call her name, just to get a pat or a brush. The alpacas and sheep were so photogenic and calm. Our hosts, Norie and Tom, were incredibly warm. Tom gave us a private tour of the museum and the fairytale playground he built for his daughter, so touching. Every moment here felt gentle and full of heart. Highly recommend for anyone seeking peace, kindness, and a true farm experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Leanne was there to greet us but respected our privacy and gave us support when needed. I’ve already recommended it to others and will probably return before too long.

we loved our stay at Robert's lovely house again. As cyclists away riding the BVRT, it is wonderful to return to such a quiet beautiful place to relax after the riding is done for the day. We will be back again.

The pictures do not do this place justice! Such an incredible house, beautifully renovated and styled. We loved using the sauna, hot tub and pool. The doggos also loved the huge yard to run around in. We can’t wait to come back again!

We spent a long weekend at this beautiful spot, and it was just perfection. The cottage is just beautiful, felt so homely and had everything we needed. Beds were incredibly comfortable, linen and blankets were beautiful and cosy. The outdoor areas did not disappoint, it was so peaceful and just the perfect way to switch off and waste the days relaxing in nature. We will be back!

What a gem! Maggie’s Cottage was perfect. Quiet, restful, private. A lush garden and sweeping rural views. Super comfortable bed with quality linen. Welcoming touches like fresh sourdough and home made dukkah. The fire pit set ready. And the bath with a view and early morning sunshine streaming in… Sooo good. Maggies Cottage had charm and soul.

Such a beautiful view. You never want to leave. Very calm and peaceful place.
