Yakobus and his son Yansen were great hosts and always helpful with every question! The apartment is very central but at the same time like a small wonderful oasis in the jungle. In addition, Yansen‘s wife is a fantastic cook! I am really happy to come back and enjoy the awesome tours with Yakobus :-) Highly recommend the stay!

I had a nice, comfortable stay at Aliyah's place. I was on my research fieldwork at that time, and the place offered me a convenient respite from the grueling fieldwork. The room is really comfortable, and all of the windows in the room make it really nice for me to just stay in and work. Amenities are adequate, and she even gave me some local pastries to try. Aliyah is also a very understanding host! And her family is also very welcoming.

Lovely apartment, good area, easy to find and very clean! Yursan was an amazing host and wait for us for a long time as our flight was delayed. What was also really good: the laundry service on the 2nd floor! Impeccable. Definitely would recommend to anyone who travels to Makassar

Stayed again at Gladiol C8 another smooth and enjoyable visit Check in and out very easy. WD is a great host and always responsive. The owner and staff were extremely kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, cleaned up daily. Whole resort was tidy and even during the windy season the beach was clean (cleaned up twice a day by the staff, unlike at other resorts). Free airport pick up, drop off and owner’s car available at any time made all the traveling super easy and comfortable. We definitely recommend to try sea food dinner at the resort - delicious! Even special requests were not a problem, the owner and staff helped with everything, service was excellent.
