Located close to Durdle Door, Lulworth cove, the world famous Tank Museum and Monkey World Going west is Weymouth and Abbotsbury, east is Corfe Castle and Swanage, inland to quaint villages

Cosy Cornish Woodland Retreat

Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

"Rex the Bus" is unique, fun and just a little bit quirky. This double decker bus has been converted to the highest standard and connected to mains electricity, water and drainage. Enjoy panoramic views of the countryside from the windows, watch the sunrise from your double bed or cabin bunk bed. Heating and a wood-burner will keep you warm and snug, whilst the kitchen area provides plenty of space to cook up a delicious meal. There is a shower downstairs and a loo and basin upstairs.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings and views across the Severn Estuary from our unique, rustic converted town bus. Set on private land near Chepstow, The Bothy Bus has an outdoor area with a fire pit and access to a shared, enclosed garden. Ideally located for exploring the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Bannau Brycheiniog, Cardiff and Bristol. The Bothy Bus is connected to The Crafty Pickle Co., where we produce local sauerkraut and kimchi and run regular fermentation workshops.

The bus has travelled over half a million miles, only to wind up here. I converted it during lockdown #2, and spent a few months living in it last winter, lighting many fires and seeing the occasional otter. The space is solely yours, in a little woodland nook hidden a field deep from the road, you won't see anyone or visa versa. It's also fully fenced, for your pets to enjoy a run around. Both the coast and the relative wilderness of Dartmoor are 30 mins away. Enjoy some stars ✌🏻

There are beautiful walks in the woods up behind my holding and a lovely riverside walk to the beach, which is perfect now the holiday crowds have gone. The truck is well insulated and has a wood burning stove.
