Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Wohnbereich und Küche bieten einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Die Straße zwischen Meer und Haus war zum Glück nicht stark befahren um diese Jahreszeit und es gab eine Fußgängerampel in der Nähe. Die Schlafzimmer liegen nach hinten und sind daher angenehm ruhig. Von den Nachbarn war nichts zu hören. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und modern. Dusche und Waschbecken angenehm zu benutzen. Mischbatterie. Von der Wohnung aus ist alles gut fussläufig zu erreichen. Parkplatz in der Nähe. Fünf Minuten den Hügel hinauf.

A wonderful holiday by the sea! Madelaine is very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and informative...a superb host. The flat is very clean and comfortable with a modern and Danish style, and has all your modern conveniences for a fully self-catering stay. Madelaine provided a few staples to get me started with my stay, and provided info on nearest grocers and shops in addition to nearby attractions. It was a completely comfortable and carefree week, and I shall miss here while I'm gone and hope to be back soon. Staying at Madelaine's flat is very much like visiting with faraway family, warm, inviting and helping you make the most of your stay.

Gorgeous flat, tastefully furnished, comfortable beds, quiet, fully equipped, everything works. Did I mention the gorgeous sea views?

We had a great stay. I chose the place for the view and wasn't disappointed. The flat is well appointed and a great place to walk along the sea front. We relaxed in the lounge as a family in the evenings. There is on street parking outside the property where you can park for free. We used the nearby train station rather than walk to the old town in Hastings but there were also plenty of buses.

Great flat! Clean, comfy, nice layout, with a fab view and short walk across the park to Hastings Old Town. We appreciated having good soap, washing liquid etc provided. Helpful, responsive host, thank you!

Perfect stay in every way. Sue was really helpful and her place was immaculate with everything we needed to enjoy the trip to Hastings Old Town. Lots of nice breakfast spots, pubs and shops just a stone's throw away from the apartment.

Quiet flat close to the centre of Rye. It had all we needed for a weekend stay. The 2nd bed was suitable for our 4-year-old and she slept like a log.

Had a fantastic time at Jenny and Alan's place - a brilliant location in the heart of St Leonard's!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille dans ce logement très agréable et très bien aménagé. Très bien situé, à quelques pas de la mer et proche de la vieille ville, à voir absolument. La gare est située à quelques minutes de l’appartement ainsi que des magasins et restaurants. Hastings est une très jolie ville, parfaite pour visiter la région!

Lovely stay at Benjamin’s and Jing’s cottage, Benjamin was a great host and excellent communication, we had one night where we were a little cold and he replied almost straight away even though it was quite late. Lovely little village close to tunbridge wells. Thanks so much!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Becky's place in Rye. You can tell so much thought has gone into this rental - from very thoughtful welcome treats, to instructions for the house and things to do nearby. It was perfect for our group (4 adults and 2 kids), very clean, stunning historic house and very comfortable. The upstairs layout was particularly good for us as 2 bedrooms and a bathroom were on one side and another bedroom + bathroom were around the corner so my in-laws could have a bit of their own space. Quirky ceiling heights but that is part of what makes this home so unique and fun. Walkable to everything in Rye and on a beautiful street across from the church yard. Becky was super responsive as well. Would definitely recommend if visiting Rye!!

White Sands was a great family house for two families including 5 children from age 15 to 7 with loads of space and a great garden. The house had everything we needed, is light and airy and very close to the beach as well as great for going to visit Dungeness and Rye. Karl was very responsive and provided lots of detail for when we checked in. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved Barefoot Beach House! Location is fantastic, literally sitting on the sand. Home is warm and inviting, clearly loved by a family. Mark was responsive and helpful. Will definitely look to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for first rate beach stay!

We had a fantastic few days here. A 5 minute walk, through the development, across the road, over the dunes and on the beach - easy with beach stuff, a dog, 6 and 9 year olds in tow! House was clean, plenty of space and outside area was perfect for a BBQ and marshmallow toasting on the firepit. TV had sky and all the channels! Great amenities - thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great house right on the shingle beach. Wonderful view of the sea and around the bay from the terrace. We had a lovely relaxing long weekend in the glorious sunshine. Very well equipped house, everything you'd need in the kitchen and some extra goodies from Donna as well as milk, butter, tea etc. Great games room although the weather was so good we didn't use it much. Donna is an excellent host, good communication. We hope to return.

Perfectly comfortable studio! The hosts and owners are kind and helpful. It’s a fair walk uphill from town but an advantage when hiking up to Beachy Head. Taxis are available at the train station if you arrive late or are carrying heavy bags. I would stay again if I’m ever lucky enough to return to the beautiful South Downs!

Our stay was perfect, the home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed and more! You are within walking distance to Hastings and there a plenty of restaurants nearby.

Nice little apartment, walking distance to everywhere we needed to get to in Eastbourne. Had a minor issue when we first arrived which was quickly dealt with and went above and beyond to help. Very much appreciated.

Amazing location right by the pier with a huge window offering a beautiful view over the sea. If you wake up early, be sure to take a look and enjoy the morning light! The bedroom is at the back, so it was nice and quiet at night, in spite of the central location. Easy walking distance of train (Warrior Sq or Hastings) and my fave pizza place Rustico (it’s not fancy, but it’s really nice food!). Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking, nice sound system was a bonus!

Just got home from a great stay at The Manhattan Apartment. The apartment is really spacious and well laid out. We loved the interiors and were so grateful that every day essentials were provided in situ such as soap and dishwasher tablets. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked dinner most nights which was great for us as we have young kids. The apartment is in a great location close to the train station and water front. We visited St Leonard’s and Hastings Old Town on foot and were so glad we were in the middle. It’s mentioned in the description that there can be some noise due to location and we experienced this on our first night but it didn’t go on too late and didn’t bother us at all. Good that we were pre warned though! Lorna was very helpful answering pre arrival questions and the arrival instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would definitely recommend her apartment as the perfect base for a break in Hastings!

A fantastic apartment in a great location - beautifully and stylishly decorated, immaculately clean and with everything you could need, and some great mod cons like Bluetooth connection to a speaker system. Fabulous balcony with sea view, very quiet and lovely walks from the door - we walked along the cliffs through Fairlight to Hastings - about 3 hours - and got a taxi back. Warren was really kind and helpful, even arranging for some fizz to be put in the fridge for our arrival (it was my friend’s 60th birthday). Great place - highly recommended.

This has been the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. The entire place was spotless, including the washing machine, and the sea view was the most stunning I’ve ever seen. The house is peaceful and cosy – even more beautiful than it appears in the photos – and the host family seemed incredibly warm and kind. I’ve stayed in many places, but I can genuinely say this one is highly recommended. It was just me and my son, but I chose this two-bedroom home and I have no regrets at all. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip.

We loved staying at Lauren’s place!It was even better than the pictures, really spacious and beautifully decorated. It was filled with really thoughtful aspects too such as the buckets and spades and beach towels. Would absolutely recommend!
