We enjoyed this lovely, peaceful home. Being a historical home brought a touch of charm to it all. It was well equipped and very clean and uncluttered. The Wifi worked well and we were able to keep connected with family and friends, We loved the little town of Buena Vista and the ability to walk around and find some interesting, delightful places to drop in for coffee or have a lovely meal.

Less expensive than multiple hotel rooms. Great area. Loved the atmosphere of the home. Very beautiful inside and out, very clean and welcoming. Anna was very responsive and accommodating for a very last minute reservation. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and hope to return soon myself.

We arrived to a cozy home with fantastic lake views and access. The home was seasonally decorated which added to the experience. Amy was responsive with communication. Highly recommend!

She responded quickly whenever we had a question and was very helpful when our plans needed to be adjusted. We definitely recommend this home and will return again, if we get the chance.

An Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommend! This was my first time booking an Airbnb, and I have to say Tony and his wonderful property truly made this experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything was beyond our expectations. The house was spacious and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were so comfortable that my husband, our children, and I struggled to get out of them each morning! Tony was an outstanding host—prompt, attentive, and always ready to help. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and the spacious yard with a hammock was such a relaxing bonus. It felt like a true home away from home, and we had everything we needed to carry out our day-to-day routines seamlessly. Thank you, Tony, for making our first Airbnb experience the best! You've set the bar high! If you're on the fence about booking, don’t hesitate—this is the perfect place, and Tony is the perfect host!

I stayed for two months. The cabin is very cozy and the bed is comfortable. Barbara was always available if I had questions. The kitchen is well equipped, and plenty of linens. Barbara made sure I was stocked up on the necessities, paper towels, toilet paper. The cabin is in the country with hunting during this time. Be prepared for daily gunfire. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

We were visiting the area for a wedding and had several families that needed a place under one roof. We are so lucky to have found this wonderfully secluded little slice of heaven! The property is beautifully situated off of a winding dirt driveway within a small forest of pine trees. A small lake welcomes birds throughout the day and makes for great sunrise pictures. The grounds surrounding the property were well maintained and make it a great place to walk and take in nature. All 8 of our guests were comfortable and had more than enough space to move around the home without feeling cramped. The home was well equipped with general necessities such as plates, silverware, cookware, drip coffee maker, washer/dryer, etc. The lovely porch on the home was a great spot for all of us to gather while enjoying the outdoors. There is also a great covered space that sits closer to the lake with tables that makes a great spot for dinner or a summer gathering. Wonderful property!

Peaceful cabin away from the hustle and bustle of town - exactly what I was looking for! It was perfect for our stay since we were traveling with our dogs. I felt safe and secure while there and did not have to worry about my dogs bothering anybody. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with essentials which made the stay comfortable. There were plenty of blankets and decent sleeping accommodations with both a futon and bed available. The AC ran cold and plenty of fans available too. Evelyn was very responsive to issues and quickly addressed them. No complaints from me. If I visit the area for another extended stay, I’d definitely consider returning to Evelyn’s cabin!

A beautiful property. My family enjoyed all the ponds for fishing and a short drive into downtown Buena Vista for quaint small town feel. We will be back.

We had the best stay while visiting our son who graduated from Ft Benning. Evelyn was very quick to respond to any questions I had! The place was super cute and will definitely stay again.

I was really surprised by how nice the property was! We were just stopping by for 1 night on our way to South Georgia, but this place had more to come back for. Everything in the house looks and feels brand new, the bed slept really well. I wish we had more time to walk around a little, we will definitely make time for it next time we are here!

Laura is a phenomenal host & her cabin is so homey & sweet She’s done the work of master craftsman remodeling the cabin It’s cozy , immaculately clean , safe and so quiet. Best nights sleep I’ve had in long time and I enjoyed coffee& toast for breakfast & nice conversations I was impressed with Laura’s reviews and after meeting her & having such a 10 star stay..I want to add mine as well and look forward to a return stay .. which is the highest compliment on Airbnb I feel Thanks Laura !!
