Driftwood cottage is a compact and beautiful detached 18th century stone cottage, set in it's own small garden and based in the idyllic hamlet of Cwm Ivy in North Gower. A magical walk from the property leads through the Whitford National Nature Reserve to both Whitford Sands and Broughton Bay (both are within half a mile). The Gower peninsular offers an array of beautiful coastal walks, open grasslands, woodland and marsh walks. It also boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

A relaxing, cosy home, with log burner, with beautiful views of Swansea Bay from the terraces. One downstairs bedroom with en suite shower & toilet, one upstairs bedroom with separate bathroom. This beautifully presented and fully refurbished holiday cottage was originally built in 1892 and is situated on the edge of a quiet wooded area above Underhill park. It is a 5 minute walk from the beaches of Rotherslade and Langland and a 10 minute walk to Oystermouth castle and the village of mumbles. It has private parking for 2 vehicles in a double car port. Parking is also available at the roadside above the cottage. Nearby activities: watersports, surfing, fishing, golf, walking.

No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door is No 2 that is slightly larger and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

“Cosy Cottage” in the heart of Mumbles Village

Beautiful seaside cottage in the heart of picturesque Mumbles Village. Local shops, restaurants and pubs are within a few minutes walking distance. Plenty of wonderful beaches nearby including Langland, Rotherslade and Caswell and numerous coastal walks. There is a promenade from Mumbles to Swansea which is about a 5 mile walk. The Gower peninsula is a 20 minute drive away. The cottage is entirely self-contained and has its own outdoor area with a table and seating.
