We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Welcome to our new building. "A Room With a Brew" is located above Belfast's newest craft brewery, Frosty Bottom Brewing. A small community supported brewery open 2 days/week for 3-4 hours for beer share members. Guests can request a tour of the brewery and sample some fresh beer. Owners live in downtown Belfast and are available should any issues arise during your stay. The apartment/brewery is located 3 miles from downtown on a quiet road that offers local hiking and biking.

Relax in the garden, hang out on the deck, soak in the clawfoot tub, enjoy the fast wifi – or walk or drive over to Belfast center - it's close! This coastal town is truly a gem, but if you’d like to explore further afield, it’s also an excellent base for day trips to Camden (30 minutes) or Acadia National Park (1.25 hours.) Ice skate or xc-ski across the frozen lake and watch the bald eagles fly overhead, or relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of the bonfire while you make smores and cook dinner on the grill or over the open fire, then snuggle up inside the tipi while you listen to vintage vinyl and let the owls hoot you to sleep. *Tipi closed March-April.

Try our new outdoor shower byilding. There's a composting toilet indoors which works well & smells not at all.
