Het huis is gebouwd op elementen van Byzantijnse en Turkse architectuur. Het duurde drie jaar om het te bouwen (aan het einde van de vorige eeuw) door de meest ervaren en beroemde ambachtslieden uit Zagorochoria in die tijd, met rots als het belangrijkste materiaal. Het oude herenhuis ligt op de heuvel van Sivota, waar het uitzicht op vier punten van de horizon iedereen die het bezoekt enthousiast maakt.
