Winterfell Cottage Bowness - Best of Both Worlds

A wonderful stay and an excellent host. Anthony was friendly, welcoming and proactive. His instructions were extremely helpful and we were pleased to find that the property was exactly as described and had all of the contents listed plus more. We felt right at home and relaxed for the duration. We would thoroughly recommend Anthony's house as a superb location to explore the lake district.

New 2023 mini moon luxe with hot tub copper bath

We had a wonderful stay at mini-moon. The cottage was modern, light and clean. The modern interior and home comforts made our stay feel luxurious. The copper bath is a lovely touch. Everything you needed was supplied. Nicola was a fantastic host, she was available whenever you needed her.

We would highly recommend this place. Amazing location to walk Scafell Pike and view the local Loch as well as do other walks. Really clean and comfortable, great hosts. If we were going to that area again we would book without hesitation - thank you!

Teapot Cottage - Hot Tub, Wood Burner & Pizza Oven

Teapot Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It was very well kitted out, decorated very nicely, and had lots of nice touches to make our stay even better. Lammisa was a great host - very responsive and friendly, and was happy to help whenever needed. There's great local amenities within walking distance, and several local villages and towns within a short drive, including Ennerdale Lake. The place was very comfortable, with plenty of seating indoor and out, with several comfy beds suitable for a group of adults. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom with the bunk beds has very little storage space, so if you're staying for a few days and have a large bag/suitcase - you'll need to find somewhere else to put it! Overall - we were all very pleased with this stay and we'd definitely book again in future.

Just back from three nights and we had such a wonderful time. The property is in a great location with it being walking distance to bowness but also secluded. Kitchen amenities all great, excellent spec bathroom and very clean all round. We had a couple of questions which were answered very quickly. Highly recommend and we will be booking again.

Maple Leaf Cottage, Windermere, The Lake District.

Had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Windermere. The property was spotlessly clean and very tidy, with a welcoming atmosphere as soon as we walked in. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully arranged—not too cluttered, which made it easy to relax and settle in. The kitchen was particularly impressive, equipped with everything we needed and featuring high-quality appliances and utensils. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this a comfortable and practical home away from home. Highly recommend for a peaceful and well-equipped Lake District getaway!

Lakes cottage with stunning view & private hot tub

Absolutely perfect! We love staying here, it has everything you need to feel immediately at home, relaxed and comfortable. The surrounding countryside is just beautiful and the views from the hot tub are what makes staying here even more special! Catherine and Ian are very attentive hosts and Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had. We love this cottage and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, relaxing and very special place to stay in the Lake District.

Beautiful Cottage - Perfectly Located!

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place in Kendal. When we arrived, we were met by Steve who gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the accommodation and facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean and really well looked after, with everything we needed for our stay. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us with crisps, chocolates, biscuits, and all the essentials like milk, tea, and coffee – such a nice touch. We also really appreciated the unperfumed soap, shampoo, and shower cream that were provided – perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. All in all, a really comfortable and homely place to stay. Would definitely book again

Absolutely loved our stay here! Extremely peaceful and relaxing location. Great if you’re needing an escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Accommodation was immaculate and fully kitted. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back. It has became a special place for myself, and my partner.

The cottage is a wonderful place to stay when exploring the Western Lake District and coastline. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner and has a lovely enclosed garden perfect for your furry companion . The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, comfortable and decorated cosily. Sue was the perfect host and checked in to make sure our elderly parents had the best stay. We shall return again soon !!
