Had a fabulous weekend. Went for the Cattle Country music festival, great place to come home to - full moon! Super private and so comfortable

Jenn treated us as when we arrived . Carmel apple cobbler was so delicious. We had crazy weather. High winds, then snow, power outages and then beautiful our last day. Jenn stayed in touch with us the whole time and responded quickly when we needed something. She told us to completely disregard the check out times and said we should sleep in and enjoy our family time. We were able to feed the animals the last day we were there. Even with the crazy weather, this would still have to be our most favorite place. This will definitely be our #1 choice! Thank you Jenn and John!!

What a wonderful stay. We visited this home with another family, so we had 4 adults and 3 kids (all under 3 years old). The home was friendly for our littles, not too many breakables or unsafe items to worry about. We felt like there was plenty of space for all of us. The real highlight though was the scenery around the house. Pastures with flowers blooming full of goats, sheep, and a single donkey, pig, and turkey mixed in. Feeding the donkey was a favorite. They also had a chicken area with adult+baby chicks. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen, and it had everything we needed. We forgot to bring chicken bullion, and Nahida was kind enough to share some of hers. A couple notes that may be helpful for future visitors: Some of the doors stick a bit, and it was hard for our 3 year old to open them if they were closed all the way. The bathroom is only accessible through either of the bedrooms which was a bit tricky after we put the kids to bed having to sneak through.

very unique guest house that is beautifully decorated and all modern amenities. I love the mix of old and new -- it was so comfy! Reading the news articles of the dairy and other framed memorabilia -- it was like a time capsule and very interesting. This place has great history and was great to see it preserved so well. Highly recommend!

Everything went great! We even got to visit with the dog.

An unforgettable weekend escape! The Cabin at Fossil Tree Farm is a hidden gem tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Madisonville. From the moment we arrived, Marguerite made us feel like family—she’s incredibly sweet, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about her land and animals. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with rolling pastures, a serene atmosphere, and stunning scenery that instantly melts away the stress of everyday life. Oreo, her lovable dog, greeted us with butt wags and cuddles, quickly becoming one of the highlights of our stay. The farm animals were all super friendly, well-cared for, and added so much charm to the experience. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch or strolling through the property, every moment felt like a peaceful escape from reality. We left feeling refreshed and grateful—and we’ll definitely be back.

This Airbnb was hands down the most peaceful and grounding part of my Texas trip. Nestled in the Hill Country just outside of Austin, the stay offered everything I needed after dealing with the heavy traffic and chaos of cities like Dallas and San Antonio. The location is remote but not too far out — perfect balance of nature and access. It felt like I could finally breathe. The property is located at the end of a long, gated driveway surrounded by trees and rolling terrain, giving off major retreat vibes. The sense of privacy was unmatched. I stayed solo and it felt safe, quiet, and healing — a perfect environment for reflection and reset. Inside, the space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully laid out. It had a real cabin-in-the-country feel, but with the modern essentials — a full kitchen, washer and dryer, strong Wi-Fi, and a clean queen-sized bed. I especially appreciated the large porch with chairs, where I spent mornings and evenings soaking up the sun and decompressing.

This was our 2nd stay, it was like walking in where you were expected. Gardan shared so much info about the history of the Guest house and future plans at the property. We will be back for a 3rd trip & more, so relaxing, comfortable. The porch is the best with rocking chairs. Coffee on the morning is perfect, country side view. Rocky & Hank are great assets to the property. Location is easy access to various locations of Hill Country. As I said we will be back :) Thank you, Will, Gardan & Cindy

Ms. Celeste was incredibly welcoming and made our family, including young children, feel right at home. The guest house was spacious, spotless, and fully stocked with all the amenities we needed The 27-acre property felt like an oasis-perfectly yet conveniently on HWY 107 for easy access to stores. The outdoor area was a highlight, featuring beautiful pool with a waterfall, lounge chairs, beach towels, and a dinning space with grill, mini fridge, and ice maker. Our kids loved exploring the birdcage with exotic birds, feeding the donkeys, and riding around the golf cart provided. The large paved track was perfect for morning strolls. This stay exceeded our expectations, offering both relaxation and adventure. We made unforgettable memories and we can't wait to return! Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place to stay, and our hosts were amazing in every way, would recommend this airbnb to anyone. Great people to stay with, so accommodating and just make you feel right at home, we had a short stay but will definitely be back in the future for extended stays. God Bless!

This home was spacious and perfectly designed to host families. The bunk bed room being next to the main suite and then have two bathrooms upstairs made it perfectly suitable for us. The bathtub was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was at a spa. We had children with us so seeing a trampoline on sight was lovely for them. WiFi was great with no issues and the instructions for check in was pretty straight forward. We would definitely stay here again.

The home we stayed in was lovely. The inside was beautiful and well stocked with pots , pans, washing machine, dryer-just like home. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like a baby. The house is 35 minutes away from college station and the drive was direct and pleasant to and from college station. Easy to find even at night-there was a big sign on the road so you would not miss it. I would rent this home again and we had a lovely weekend. We were there for family weekend. The host, house and the surroundings was fabulous and I would suggest this rental to anyone. The porch was so lovely-there is a swing and I had my coffee in the morning on that swing. We LOVED our stay! It’s very peaceful and we had so much fun feeding the animals. Our dogs loved the trails. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere despite being 20 minutes from HEB. The cabin itself is gorgeous. It’s very clean and the walls are 80% windows, so it felt like a perfect little bubble in the middle of nature. It’s far enough from the main house that we had total privacy- we never even saw the owners.

Excellent host excellent stay. Looking forward to staying at this property again.

Joe and his wife were the definition of southern hospitality. Very respectful and helpful always answered the phone when I texted or called and was sure to ask if there was anything we needed help with. Loved our stay beautiful home.

What a remarkable airbnb! There are 3 properties total on the area and they are all beautiful and exquisite. The land is gorgeous with tons of birds, cows, 2 mini donkeys, turtles, a pond for fishing and lots of land for a fire or stargazing. The immaculate details inside the barn are so beautiful. My favorite was the incredible bathtub/tv and listening to the rain on the roof. The hosts are phenomenal and took us out for a ride on their property and to feed the cows! Truly a magical place that you will fall in love with!

This was our second time staying at Casey’s place in Belleville and it was just as wonderful as we remembered!! Comfy bed and furniture, AC works great, kitchen does the trick for a few meals, the land is beautiful, lots of space for a private getaway, overall just an amazing easy weekend trip from Houston! We will be back again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Annette's place. It was a short drive to Austin, many hikes, and great food options. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants some peace and quiet outside of Austin with the added bonus of visiting with all of the animals on the farm. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Austin area.

Lydia place was perfect for our short stay. Had all the amenities a d necessity that a family of 4 need . My girls enjoyed the surrounding, putting the goats, chicken and dog. Lydia was an excellent host

This place was so relaxing and was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed the peace of being out away from the hustle of downtown but it is still very easy and convenient to get into town as well. Everything was perfect. The house is very inviting and beautiful. We spent alot of time outside on the back porch. We loved interacting with the animals and Vanessa was very communicative and reached out to us several times to make sure all was well. We will definitely be back, was a great experience that we enjoyed very much and we can't wait to come back.

Such a peaceful space with the friendliest cows EVER! :) Beautiful setting - and such a great step-away from the big city... with only sounds of mother nature. I spent a peaceful afternoon on the patio and cherished visits from beautiful cardinals, hummingbirds, and countless other beauties. The cabin is pristine, not a bug in sight, which is hard to pull off in the country, the strong scent of mothballs may be keeping them at bay. I enjoyed this place so much and was not ready to leave.

We could not have asked for a better getaway for our family! Amy is a thoughtful and responsive host, and we loved the farmhouse. The space is both cozy and spacious, as well as very comfortable, and perfect for us to slow down and enjoy being out in the country. We had fun exploring around Rusk and then relaxing at the farmhouse. We would love to come back again in the future!

Cute farm house. The beds were very comfortable and it had all the cooking utensils, pots and pans needed for making breakfast. We fed the horses and our dogs enjoyed running around and exploring the grounds. Stephen was very responsive and came by to say hi to us as we arrived from running an errand. Cute, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if its available when I return to the area
