We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

Becky’s cottage is perfect for a family stay in Muskoka. The cottage is incredibly well designed and appointed with tons of small touches that make the stay outstanding. Both the main cottage and side cottage provide ample space for all parties and the outdoor space from docks to patios give everyone tons of space to enjoy the outdoors. The place is filled with love of Pirabakaran, we can feel the efforts on all the items and supplies he provides to make our living experience way much easier and nicer. The house and space are nice and comfortable, recommended for having a relaxing lakefront cottage/house getaway with the people you love. amenities are good: kayak, floating, fire pit, huge lakefront backyard, bbq grill, pool table, darts, big living and dining area

We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The place was just as described – clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a true home away from home, with all the amenities we needed and more. The host Alon was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He was always available for all our questions , It was clear that he genuinely cared about our experience. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Fantastic stay from start to finish everything was perfect

Everything was really good. There were lot of amenities in the place. If anyone is looking for neat and clean place to stay, i would recommend this place. Moreover, there is jacuzzi in there as well.

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

My group and I had an excellent stay at the cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is as well; inside and out. The location is quiet, yet not too secluded, making the overall experience very peaceful. The home was also very clean, functional, and had even more amenities than we were even expecting! What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

We loved our time here! Robert was responsive and answered all of our questions. Instructions were clear. The cottage was clean. There was enough space for 6 adults to feel comfortable and have enough space, and a number of gathering spots to play games, eat together, etc. We were particularly impressed and grateful for all of the amenities--they have it all! For activities: 2 kayaks and a canoe, various-sized life jackets, even 2 fishing rods! Lots of games inside. There were plenty of towels, toiletries, fragrance-free laundry detergent with the washer/dryer. The kitchen is well-stocked (plenty of dishes and cutlery, large mixing bowls, baking pans, pots/pans, oils, sauces, condiments, spices), and we cooked many large meals. The fire pit was great, and they even have bug spray! The park down the street has a new tennis/pickle ball/basketball court. Cons: you can definitely hear the trains and highway, but we expected this going in. Would still recommend this cottage!

This cottage is an absolute gem. We had the best time, as did our golden retriever, by far one of his funnest weekends ever!!! The sandy beach was perfect for him. We loved the docks, kayaks, row boat, paddle board, all so fun and peaceful on the calm lake. The cottage was in a great location, easy to find. The inside of the cottage was so cozy. Minden is so close and such a cute town. Thank you!!!

Rachel was a great host. Answered any question I had and was flexible with time. The place was beautiful, great outdoor space and backyard. Sitting on the boathouse every morning looking at the lake was exactly why we booked here. Highly recommend, would definitely come here again!

We had the best summer before school starts , thanks to Henry’s cottage! There lots to do, campfire, kayak, boating etc. We love the jetty by the lake and we have coffee there every morning!!! The backyard is so spacious it has the playground that kids have plenty of stuff to do! The place is very quiet at night! We also love the bedrooms and it has no problems accomodating our family plus two more. We have a good experience here and Henry is very responsive on our concerns and questions! We will definitely come back !! Thanks!!!
