The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . Koselig hytte med SAUNA (badstue) 6 km nord fra Lyngseidet sentrum. Hytta er totalt 49 kvm og passer fint for 3-4 voksne eller en liten familie. Hytten inneholder : stue, toalett /dusj , kjøkken og 3 soverom. bod: inni boden er det vaskemaskin - Stor veranda hvor det er grillmuligheter å utsikt over Lyngenfjorden. We are the proud owners of this very special cabin located right at the seafront. Modern fully equipped kitchen and stylish living room with panoramic views through the large windows facing the sea. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you will need and the bathroom is spacious with water closet and large shower. Washing machine/tumbling dryer and dishwasher is also available and can be used freely.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
