What a great place. A great location near to everything in Coniston. The hosts are so accommodating with everything even the pets ! Spotlessly clean and every possible thing you could need for a great stay. parking was easy on the road outside too. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.

really lovely place to stay in the Lake District. The accommodation is modern, clean and reasonably spacious (it can sleep 5 but dining table is small and can only fit 4). But the bedrooms are nice with super comfortable beds, and both bathrooms are right next to each bedroom, which is really handy . The kitchen is well equipped with a washer/dryer too which we didn't use but great to know it's there for the future. Only improvements I could suggest is to include a coffee machine ( which every Airbnb property we've stayed at has had and are cheap but great for guests who enjoy a decent coffee in the morning), and for the TV to have terrestrial channels. It was a smart TV so it was great being able to connect our Netflix account to, but this and catch-up was all that was available. These are minor points as neither would stop us returning. Louise and team were very responsive to our queries which was great. We'll definitely return soon and can recommend this place.

This was a repeat visit. The accomodation is very homely. Kitchen is well equipped and nice little touches like tea, coffee and milk were provided. Buses are reliable, for a small village the local shops etc are very good. The only thing missing was the Fleetwood ferry, not running this time of year. We have enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend to others.

Lovely apartment for 4 in a great location. Lori was responsive to any messages and check in easy & straightforward. Warm, clean and nice touches like a pint of milk left for us in the fridge as we arrived late, shampoo, shower gel, handwash, good hairdryer. Cooker easy to use and enough utensils/pans to cook a meal if you wish. Comfortable beds, lovely bath plus a cute balcony to sit out in warmer months. We slept well, nice and quiet but also only 5 minute walk to town centre. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend as a base to explore the Lake District, thank you Lori 😊

Great location for some hiking/running in the South lakes with nice pubs and places to eat right on the doorstep. Neil was very friendly and easy to arrange the check in with. The flat was much more spacious than the photos suggested and I had a great couple of nights there, I would definitely come back!

Amazing stay for a 30th family celebration. The sun was shining so we spent most our time at the house on the terrace! Perfect location with the surrounding scenery. We had a slight issue with the hot tub room, due to previous guests. But this was quickly resolved! Can’t fault the hosts or the house. Would definitely love to return for another celebration in the future one day! Thanks again

Lovely little spot not far from beach and town centre with local spots to eat and drink nearby and great access for walking in the lakes Lovely accommodation with lovely huge bed, rainfall shower and the hot-tub was lovely Andrew always replied quickly and was very helpful

Elizabeth was very responsive and replied all our questions very fast. It was easy to communicate.We arrived late in the evening and she left for us a good coffee,a bottle of Prosecco,bread, milk and fresh organic eggs. It was great to find it after a long day of driving. It helped us with the dinner and the breakfast next day.the house is very beautifully designed,the kitchen had everything you can need to prepare meals (we prepared our meal twice a day in the house, so it was important to us).the bathrooms and the linens were clean. The only thing that was missing,on my opinion, is a shampoo.Elizabeth also left a detergent and the tablets for a dishwasher. The surroundings are amazing and are in a walking distance.Thank you,Lizzie, for a great experience in your house!

Lovely house - very peaceful and quiet. We had a lovely time but it’s worth noting for those new to the area that it’s about an hour drive away from Lake Windermere - something I quite hadn’t realised or appreciated beforehand!

Great location close to the centre of the village. The property was nice and clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Bed was very comfy and shower was powerful and hot. I would happily stay here again.

The location was excellent for walking to almost anything you need. Parking was easy to access. The unit is on second floor so small bags are easier to manage. The unit had beautiful cosy decor and coffee, tea and milk provided. It was comfortable and quiet.

Absolutely fantastic place, really comfortable, clean, spacious with great views across to the hills. Good location in the heart of the village, easy walk to pubs and local shops. We hope to come back!

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is finished to a high standard. You can hear a small bit of noise from the other apartment, but nothing that bothered us. It’s right by the river with a small balcony to sit on. It’s well located with around a 20 min drive to Windermere. Sophie and Mark were very responsive on messages.

Could not fault this place. Simone is an excellent host. She's really friendly and helpful and so obliging. We had an issue with the smoke alarm going off in the early hours (2.30am!!), and it was a fault on the alarm. We advised her the next morning and she was onto it straight away, communicating with us as required. The kitchen had everything you need, the water was lovely and warm, the heating timer could be over-ridden, but we didn't need heating while we were there. There was not a single thing wrong with this place. Nearby is Allan House and Dove Cottage for Wordsworth fans - word to the wise - get there early before the school outings/coach tours! The Hideaway was a beautiful, peaceful and perfect setting for us to celebrate our anniversary, made all the more special by Fiona’s very warm welcome, outstanding hospitality and helpfulness, providing guests with everything you might need. One of the comfiest and largest beds we’ve ever slept in; lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen; all very clean and with many thoughtful touches throughout. Huge bonus to have many perfect spots to sit and relax in the garden and absolutely love the ‘hot chocolate hut’! Great walks from the doorstep, super path to Kirkby Lonsdale and loads of places to visit and eat. Thanks Fiona for a really lovely weekend and a beautiful and very generous welcome basket - we look forward to returning as a weekend was far too short to enjoy the area and the Hideaway!

An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

Lovely little flat for two, conveniently situated in the centre of Sedbergh. Access tight and parking snug but we managed perfectly well, just took it slowly!

We were only staying for one night to attend a family celebration. Communication with Roy was easy from the start. The property was great for a mixed group of 6 adults, 1 nine months old baby and a dog. It was warm, clean and roomy. Thank you very much.
