The location was definitely off the beaten track but well worth it given the serenity and views. Although the house is old, it was very well maintained. We only had two staying to the whole house to ourselves but can easily see how 12 people can fit in there

Our two carers loved their stay at Rest & Recover. They are from a rural setting and felt very comfortable, safe and spoilt in this beautiful setting. A good place for them to recharge their energy levels after a busy day of training.

One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! Communication before arrival was fantastic, with clear instructions and even a video showing how to access the site. When we arrived, we were absolutely amazed. The location is stunning, peaceful, and completely unique. The semi-outdoor living space was spotless - seriously impressive, and the caravan was just beautiful. We were welcomed by the cosy scent of an oil burner, stylish décor, and a glass roof that made it feel like we were sleeping under the stars. The hosts were wonderful - warm, thoughtful, and genuinely hospitable. They cooked us an incredible meal (the steak and chicken were top-tier), helped us get the fire going, and set up a projector for the perfect movie night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. Highly, highly recommend!

Loved the location! Right off the beach with tide pool. Great beach to take long walks. Close to great grocery stores-about 5 min drive. Beach restaurant right next to apartment building. Everything about the apartment was great! We had no complaints. We were concerned about no AC but wasn’t hot because we had a good breeze. Elmarie and Danie the hosts were excellent!! They went out to their way to take care of whatever we needed. They had their cleaning lady come in every week to clean. We loved our stay!!

La ville est assez proche pour les courses, mais on a l'impression d'être très loin tellement c'est dans les collines

Sam and her family are wonderful blessed people, they welcomed us with love and warmth and then immediately we felt at home. Sam's hospitality was outstanding, She always gave us extra things like rusks, coffe etc even if we still had our own, she treated us as part of her family, in the sitting room she put a heater and small blankets to cover ourselves on those cold days and she gave me some gift, the yard was so big for my small dog I could see how happy the dog was she was crying begging us to open for her to go outside just to run around the yard. I wish I re booked her place again. Thank you Sam for your hospitality, you are the best.

Peta is an amazing host. She gave us excellent recommendations and took us on a lovely walk. She really went out of her way to ensure that we had a good stay and that we did. The beds were very comfortable and warm, the house was cozy and we had stunning views over farmland. It was like living in a story book. She left us delicious bread, butter and we even had tea, coffee and rusks. The sherry was a lovely little touch. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem

The perfect spot with the perfect host! We spent 5 days here and felt completely at home throughout. The apartment has everything one needs for a comfortable stay… and more! The host was very understanding and accommodating to my family and myself when circumstances beyond us hit. That is something no amount of money can cover. The humility and humaneness that of the host will always stand out. The accommodation is simple, clean and offers all the basics for a good stay. We are a family of 4 so the place was adequately sized.

Great weekend stay over. Beautiful ,peaceful surroundings. The cottage is situated on a herbal farm. Very clean & neat. Well equipped, fresh clean linen and towels. Warm water, internet, books everything you need . Lovely essential room, mozzie and soaps provided such a nice touch. Safe environment for todlers. Thank you Kirsten for being so friendly & welcoming. Best host we have ever met. ..sharing your little haven with us ...feast for our senses.

Hilton is a lovely area, and the mist can be quite deceiving if you're looking to do activities outside Hilton! The accommodation was as advertised. Perhaps not suggested for more than 3 adults, ideal for a family of 4. 3 very friendly dogs are on the property. Parking is a bit of an issue, the undercover parking can only shield a small vehicle. All other parking is open. The road leading to the accommodation is poor, so be warned of that. Mary-Ann was responsive to all requests, and open to speak in person or instant messaging. The unit contains all the expected basics, with a lovely bath and a baby bath, which was quite handy in our case! I would most certainly recommend her if you're staying in Hilton.
