The stream out back was perfect to sit by the fire and listen to, we enjoyed the hot tub also. Also we loved that it had a lot of the things you forget like soaps and toothbrushes. It was super cozy for our girls trip and I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot to get away! Great wood stove in the main cabin and a perfect kitchen and grill to cook our feast. The hot tub was perfect during the rain we experienced while there. Would definitely stay again in the future.

This is the second time I've rented this spot to celebrate my birthday with some of my closest friends. We had such a nice time last year so I thought, why not return? The house was just as comfortable as I remember, we got a rare sunny spring day and enjoyed the patio to its fullest extent! A morning soak in the hot tub next to the rushing river is heavenly. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of towels and the kitchen was stocked for all of our cooking needs. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and it's less than an hour from the city. Maybe next year we'll be back again!

The house was lovely with wonderful views and plenty of trees. The location of the hot tub was perfect for not only the view, but also quickly getting inside before the change of temperature (we stayed in winter). The place is great for two people with plenty of amenities and the TV/Cinema set up was outstanding. What a fun way to wrap up the evenings. Thanks for the great space and very private stay.

Nice place, on river. Kitchen was well furnished. Roomy enough for 6. The cabin is real log construction so the floors sqeek upstairs. No weird smells or any thing like that, not perfectly clean like a Marine corps inspection on the way but, actually cleaner than 95% of most lived in homes like my own home. No complaints there. Overall a good stay ,oh one more thing no neighbors close, probably 100 yards from the nearest home through the very thick rainforest, kinda off by itself, no one can really see you if you wanted to be nude outside or whatever.

Cabin was so cozy and peaceful. You do have neighbors, but it felt like you had the river to yourself. Loved staying here and will consider it again in the future. I imagine summers would be absolutely lovely with the access to the river.

The cabin was very beautiful. The surrounding was very nice as well. My kids really loved it and it was their favorite cabin throughout our trip.

Beautiful secluded spot outside town, unique rustic vibe. Great for solitude and peace. Carolyn is really friendly Nd helpful. It’s not luxury but great for recharging, reflecting or as a base for mountain adventures.

My second time here! I really enjoy this home, and Katherine is a wonderful host. The home is a lovely, relaxing space, and I hope to return again.

agradable estancia

This is by far one of the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing places ever! Very secluded with a private path to the river. It’s breathtaking. Our host Tim is a really awesome dude! The caretaker Dan was super helpful and just a really nice guy! This is one of our favorite places to stay and can’t wait to see y’all again! Thank you and your family for sharing such a beautiful place with the us! P.S. We got to see a few bald eagles while we were there. Rad!!!!

Lovely cabin, kept very warm and cozy. The whole place smelled of cedar, and while quiet, you're close to the main house so you don't feel too isolated. Hosts were very sweet and quick to respond, and amenities were wonderful. The fresh eggs in the morning was the cherry on top of the cake! Definitely recommend, more than worth the great price. A wonderful place for us to spend our anniversary!

David’s place gave us the perfect place to gather our family after Christmas from Oregon, Indiana and New York. We loved the many windows that allowed us to view the beautiful surroundings and gave us plenty of natural light. The entire house was filled with items to make our stay comfortable. Everything we needed and more was provided in the kitchen. Games, wood for the fireplaces, beautiful afghans, and comfortable furniture made our stay so special! We all loved hanging out together in the upstairs family room! There was room to spread out and room to gather together. David and Staci were amazing hosts from beginning to end. They communicated with us regularly and we felt very supported if anything should go wrong, which it didn’t. I would recommend this house very highly!

I would highly recommend this charming cottage on the river! We stayed here the week of Christmas and the hosts kindly left us an array of holiday chocolates and a variety of beverages to get us started on our stay. The house was stocked with all the necessities and the view was so serene! You feel like you're in a secluded hideaway, yet in reality you are only minutes from downtown Milwaukie and a short drive to downtown Portland. It was very conveniently located for us visiting our two sons in Milwaukie, and there was plenty of room for them to visit us and have Christmas dinner at the cottage on the river. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

Clean and quiet in a cute neighborhood!

We absolutely LOVED this cabin! Very charming in an absolutely beautiful setting. Susan is an amazing host; everything was perfect for a short stay. It is an easy walk to several wineries for tastings, and local restaurants as well. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked another night!

The spot is beautiful and peaceful! Between the running river and the sauna and fireplace, it was a great place to recharge. The one thing did not realize until we arrived is the bedrooms are all open concept, no doors. I did see the loft bedroom in the photo but didn’t realize the downstairs bedroom also doesn’t have doors, and is attached to the kitchen. something to be aware of if you’re traveling with multiple people. The cleaning fee of $125 felt quite steep considering they ask you to strip the beds if you have time, take out the trash, and the dishwasher was broken which involved a lot of time consuming hand dish washing as we decided to stay put and cook mostly. Overall a really relaxing & serene setting

I loved my time at Todd’s cabin #2. It was so peaceful and quiet. Right after arrival, I got to watch the local deer come snack on the fallen apple around the cabins. The bed was very comfortable. And going to the trailer to use the facilities was easy even at night. The coffee and breakfast in the morning were great. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the porridge. But I went back for seconds both days. Plus the sourdough was delicious. I also did the add on of a pizza making dinner. That pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had, plus you got to make your own from stretching out the doughy, putting on toppings, and cooking it in the wood fired oven. Over all this was an excellent experience. I highly recommend

A small and homely little cabin. Would recommend for a summer stay here. Clean and cozy. Reminds you of all the parts of camping but with a rustic twang.
