Houten huisjes in Waihi Beach

Lovely stay at Lexie's caravan at Waihi Beach. First time semi camping with my two young children and it had all of the basic amenities we needed for a great time. Very private with the orientation of the deck overlooking the campsite. Fantastic and easy communication. Loved the later checkout. Thank you!

Beautiful property with idyllic surrounds. We stayed while participating in a running event and found it the perfect place to unwind after a hard morning! Very secluded and peaceful with all needed amenities + some added comforts. Would highly recommend and hope we can visit again!

We had never been to Sapphire Springs before and were lucky to find availability for two nights at the end of our holiday. The facilities were excellent, my daughter loved the play equipment, trampoline and mini golf, and the pools and bush walks were fabulous. One thing we noticed was how happy and friendly all the staff were. It really makes a difference to the experience when the staff are like that. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a fabulous little hide away. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get in touch with nature and have a break from the city - the cabin was quaint and cosy!

Had such a lovely time. The place is immaculately clean and tidy and contains everything one could need. The area is gorgeous and so peaceful. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Had a great stay at Jason's place, Jason and his dad were very friendly and helpful with any queries and made us feel welcome. We really appreciated the bikes and enjoyed riding around the town. The cabin was cosy and very well equipped. We would love to return

Soooo schön! Eine besondere Unterkunft,  so viele liebevolle Details. Die Fotos geben gar nicht wieder,  wie phantastisch diese Unterkunft ist! Durch die vielen kleinen Gebäude fühlt man sich wie in ein kleines Märchenland versetzt. Besonders gut hat uns das Badezimmer gefallen,  es ist eine kleine Wellness-Oase! Die Küche ist mit hochwertigen Geräten ausgestattet. Man muss sich auf ein kleines Abenteuer einlassen. Leider konnten wir nicht länger bleiben, aber wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen! Die Kommunikation vorab war etwas holprig.

This place was cosy and comfortable. Easy to find and only 15mins to the beach/shops etc. Private location too. The pop of colour in the unit made it feel brighter and spacious. Natalie had kindly put the heat pump on to warm up for my arrival too which was appreciated. Would very happily stay here again.

A lovely spot overlooking nature. I had a restful night and everything that I needed for my quick trip.

Excellent place, highly recommended, quiet, rustic, with a beautiful view of the mountains, the night full of stars, the place has everything you need to have a good time and comfortably! 100% recommended

Gail is a friendly and engaging host. We had a lovely stay in Gail’s well equipped and relaxing cabin. We enjoyed the company of Gail’s two dogs, Chloe and Jess. The Whiritoa beach is a lovely spot and just a short distance from the cabin. Lovely general store with tasty takeaways. Highly recommended. Evan & Lizzy

Thank you so much for hosting us and our multiple requests through the period of our stay, very helpful, friendly and easy to get ahold of throughout the process. We absolutely loved our time tucked away in our own private little nook, I was finally able to have my busy real estate partner escape the busyness of constant communication. Very close to all the little bays and areas we wanted to explore, with a romantic quaint vibe and the heatpump was perfect given the crazy weather we had the first night! Thank you again, definitely will consider coming back in future if we explore the area again.

Gorgeous little cabin in the perfect spot, set amongst the orchard. The cabin is private, cosy, well designed and has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend for the price and location and look forward to coming back :)

A beautiful place to relax and unwind after doing the walks or bike trails. And if you love opp shopping and retro shops both towns that are near are worth the look around

Place was nice and tidy and clean Mike and Christina were really nice and welcoming. Will definitely book it again.

Es ist ein schöner kleiner Bungalow mitten in einer herrlich grünen Oase. Es ist alles sehr sauber und man hat wirklich alles was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und haben gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Wir haben sogar nach 2 Tagen schon frische Handtücher bekommen. Es gab auch frische Milch, Kaffee, Tee und Honig. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele tolle Unternehmungen und Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Man hat viel Ruhe und sein eigenes kleines Areal. Tagsüber zwitschern viele Vögel und Nachts kann man einen wunderschönen Sternenhimmel sehen und die Rufe der Kiwi Vögel in der Nähe hören 🥰 Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an die freundlichen Gastgeber!

we absolutely loved our stay. the surroundings were so beautiful and serene. there so many lovely touches with little chocs, plenty of towels, tea coffee and they left us some yummy Easter bun. lynda and her husband went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. they even generously gave us some delicious kiwis from there vines. would 100% stay again. thank you so much

Very cozy cabin. Got everything we needed. Great location. Allow us to get some rest and stay for a night after visiting Hobbiton movie set. Highly recommend:)
