Josie and Neil welcome you to Hetherington Downs, their quiet 42 acre North Waikato rural property, set well away from the road & with magnificent views over Lake Waahi and beyond It is a 10m x 3m self contained Compac cabin with a 10m x 3m deck Wifi has only recently been connected to the cabin There is no TV It is most suitable for a couple, but also has a pull out sofa bed (& folding mattress) for your use if required The cabin was new in June 2017 and has now been set up for Airbnb guests

The bathroom is large and modern. There is a small covered outdoor deck with rural views to neighbouring farms and there is ample parking for cars/trailers/campervans. This cosy modern cottage is nestled amongst native trees and birdlife. Just steps from the scenic Kaitoke Walkway, this modern one-bedroom abode combines cosy comfort with a light footprint. The cottage offers an open living area, separate bedroom, bathroom and a private patio-area, all crafted with sustainable materials. The cottage is located in the back of our family property with private access and carpark. We provide fresh linen and towels, tea & coffee, and basic cooking facilities.

A great place for couples or families to escape from the hustle and bustle. Tucked away down the end of a driveway this private two bedroom unit can accommodate two couples(1 king, 1 queen) or a family of four (1 queen, 2 singles). Fabulous, fresh, well equipped space situated just off the Te Awa River trail, a 3 minute drive to the amazing Hakarimata Ranges. 20 mins to central Hamilton, 40 mins to Raglan - a great central location to many wonderful Waikato spots. Karearea Cottage is on 4 acres with a horse and pony next to the cottage. We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.
