We cannot recommend Maria's place in Wanaka more! In my experience, it is not common for an Airbnb to exceed expectations, but this beautiful property did that and more! The apartment is pristine, the view unbelievable, and the very easy walk to and from town made this location a dream! It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet, truly a highlight of our time in New Zealand. We will absolutely return and hope to stay with Maria again. Thank you so much for having us!

The place is incredible. We stayed for 3 nights and I wish it was for more ! It’s exactly like the pictures, magical views, high end fit out with the top products. Everything is so well thought out in the apartment, from those extra touches like the blankets near the balcony, the incredible bean bag seats that are like sitting in clouds near the fire place, to little things like the awesome products provided in the bathroom. The kids loved having a tv in their room and it was kitted out with Netflix. We loved the kitchen and the wine fridge and the drying cupboard in the laundry was another extra great touch ! The only thing which wasn’t their fault as it’s run by the building management was after skiing we were so looking forward to a hot spa and each time we went there when we got off the mountain it was pool temperature not warm enough to sit in. I have a feeling maybe they turn it off at 5pm as we were getting there at 5:30pm. We would be back there in a heartbeat, so special !

Loved Leigh’s place - it was clean, tidy and really peaceful. I felt right at home. Great spot to walk around to quieter bits of Lake Wānaka to enjoy the views and swim. Would definitely visit again!

Even more beautiful than the pictures. The balcony is sublime and it’s a short walk to the downtown restaurants on a very pleasant boardwalk. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the complex property.

Really lovely place for a weekend away. Beautiful views of the lake, spotless place, and very close to town (while still not being right in the noise)! We would definitely visit again ☀️

Very reasonably priced and great location near Clutha river trail and short drive to Wanaka. Very tidy and includes everything you’d need.

What a slice of heaven on Lake Hawea. That view! So peaceful to enjoy looking out at breakfast and when the sun set. Great house to base ourselves and explore the Otago area - very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Holly is a gem and was so responsive and helpful as we planned out our stay.

The location, views and facilities of the house exceeded expectations, Yohann was very friendly, the house was very warm, the kitchen was well equipped and we are looking forward to booking again next year.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and the house met all our expectations. It’s in a fabulous location overlooking the lake and mountains, with the local pub, shop and cafe all excellent and so convenient. A short trip to lovely Wanaka can provide all you nay need for your stay. Our host, Sarah responded to all our queries promptly and made us feel welcome to her home. Every aspect of the property was clean, neat and had everything you could want for a relaxing stay. Thanks Sarah we hope to be back one day, there’s just too much to see and do around the area. We were happy travellers and would definitely recommend this property.
