This air bnb is absolutely Devine, spectacular afternoon sunset having a glass of wine and sitting out on the table setting. Plenty of room for our dog to run around throwing a ball. And just wow, Lost for words for the interior of the cottage, the perfect romantic night away. This place ticks every box, could not recommend enough!! Our host Kem was so kind lovely and friendly making the whole experience stress free and inviting. Thankyou for the gorgeous air bnb and hospitality. If we’re ever in the area we will be back. 😁

I was looking for a peaceful and secluded spot in the dark skies area to celebrate with friends and watch the stars. We couldn’t be happier with this place, it is a beautiful home in a stunning part of the world, with the greatest view of the night sky you could hope for. Debbie was a wonderful host who communicated well and made sure we were set up with everything we needed for the weekend. Can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic stay. Beautiful and well appointed cottage with lovely gardens. Only a short drive into town. Susanne and Jason are very accommodating and welcoming hosts. Great value, you won’t be disappointed!

Our stay at Macleay Cottage was truly special. The home is beautifully renovated and filled with character, showcasing a stunning collection of locally made art, crafts, and products that really bring Dubbo’s creative community to life. We felt so welcomed, especially with the homemade fresh bread and the generous breakfast goodies—muesli, eggs, tomato, avocado, fruit, and orange juice—it was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and although it was too cool to enjoy the plunge pool & not cool enought for the fireplace this time, we could see how amazing those features would be in warmer or colder seasons. The private garden and peaceful courtyard were lovely spots to unwind, and our puppy Poppy loved to run around and play. We truly appreciated all the care and detail that went into making this place feel like a warm and inspiring retreat. Highly recommended!

Very easy to communicate with Sue and Nick from booking through to check-out. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to cook for our four children. The backyard was a lovely plus for them to play while we had our morning cuppa. The rooms were tidy and the house was beautifully furnished but without a million breakable ornaments that we always worry about.

Nice and beautiful. Jason is cool and good hearted guy, keep his word, fulfill the wishes. We like him. The last but not the least, he does installed jet spray in the toilet. Man that is it. For us it is sacred. Ouhh I would like to stay there again.

Loved this place. Extremely comfortable. Bed was really comfy, bathroom very spacious, kitchen had everything we needed. Pool a few steps away. Would def recommend and will stay here again. Very friendly host.

We had a fantastic stay at Dark Skies Cottage. It is centrally located within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the playground. It's a great base from which to explore the Warrumbungles and Pilliga. The house was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Vanessa was very friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay again.
