The perfect place to stay if you are looking for tranquillity in the Scottish countryside with easy access to Edinburgh city centre in less than 20 minutes by train. The garden/ patio space comes complete with outdoor seating BBQ and 2-3 parking spaces in driveway. The house contains an open kitchen with island, a piano, and a real open fireplace in the lounge. Connect with nature, visit the local palace or jump on the train for a city visit. This beautiful converted steading has it all.

The Doocot: Beautiful countryside cottage

Relax with the whole family at this beautiful peaceful cottage. Our recently renovated spacious cottage has ample space for entertaining, a tv room with PlayStation for the kids, and fireplaces in both the kitchen and living room, all surrounded by beautiful gardens and ponds. Visit the beautiful waterfall nearby. Dogs welcome. Please note one of our bedrooms has three single beds and a 4th single cabin bed adjacent to the room that provides the accommodation for 10 persons.

Harperrig Reservoir is at your door where you can swim and paddle. Endless walks in the Pentlands. Surrounded by farmland. Sit in the hot tub of an evening and watch the colours change in the hills as the sun sets. And wake in the morning to Nespresso coffee.
