Lovely property in the suburbs of Colombo! Perfect for a small group of friends and family of 4-5 people. Extremely spacious rooms with well thought out furniture and fittings and to top it all off a large patio to unwind and chill.

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

Definitely a recommended place to stay. The apartment (more private than the other apartment) has all necessary amenities, plus a few fine touches, like beautiful art on the walls, incense sticks and cones, and mosquito coils. Unfortunately, in this part of Colombo, there are mosquitos. The building is old in a good way, for instance the window fittings are beautiful and very practical compared with their modern equivalents. The shower is probably the best shower I have encountered in this part of the world. Very easy to operate (definitely not always the case), and hot water arrives immediately. I met Channa, the owner, on arrival, and he is an immediately likeable person, who will leave you in peace, but if you need advice or information he will assist without hesitation. Nothing is ever perfect, but if you want to stay in a place that is quite a bit different from the mainstream (with a sweet cat and dog thrown in for good measure!), this is the place.

We booked 'A place' for a group of 6. The place was exactly as seen in pictures. 'Dilan' - the host was always available for questions. He gave us a good tour and encouraged to use all the amenities. The home caretaker 'Anusha' was on the property 24*7 and available to assist in the group activities and daily chores. We were also introduced to a local guide 'Champika' who virtually got everything done for us. Since, we didn't speak Singalese, Dilan and Champika made sure all our needs were taken care of. Over all: - Great place and Stay - Friendly and helpful Host - Excellent care taker and his availability - Very reliable and trustworthy people - No hidden charges or trying to squeez extra It was a wonderful experience over all. I highly recommend this place for a Professional meeting, Family or friends get together. Nice and Quite with access to the beach right there!! And most importantly - 'Friendly, trustworthy and reliabile' people for a stay in a foreign country!!!

My family and I stayed in Nicola’s Airbnb last week. The location was very easy to find, and the security is very good. Upon arrival, Mr. Roshan was ready to receive us and helped us with our bags. He is extremely helpful, showed us around the apartment and even gave clear instructions on how to use appliances available if needed. Mr. Roshan is quick to reply to queries and tend to concerns. The airbnb itself was spotless, has all the amenities included in the listing, including essentials, washer with dryer, and a kitchen that’s fully equipped. The rooms are spacious, all the rooms are equipped with AC. There’s a huge pool/gym located on the 6th floor, and a supermarket on the 5th floor. It is so children friendly, my little brother did not want to leave. The location is excellent, there’s multiple supermarkets/ restaurants and shopping malls nearby. My family loved this place so much, we’re sure to stay here if available when we come back to Sri Lanka again! Thank you, Nicola! 😄

A beautiful room just like the pictures. Nice and clean, modern, with good air con and wifi. The building has a nice rooftop pool overlooking the bay, perfect for relaxing. There’s plenty of nice restaurants nearby and a bar or 2 if you fancy a few drinks. I would definitely stay there again.

Dons place is a very convenient location to lots of quick access eateries and fast transport options. The place is clean and tidy and as described. Will be back again during my next visit to Sri Lanka

We will definitely stay with Shyamala again. We recommend her place to anyone who travels to Colombo. It’s very convenient, just 5 minutes walk to a fantastic shopping centre that has everything you need. The apartment is fully furnished and plenty of room. Courtesy ride to and from shops, gym or join several fitness classes as I did at the club house. Shyamala was very responsive to any of our messages no matter the time of the day and she always checked up on us if we were ok. It my first trip to Colombo but we pick the right place to stayed that felt like home. Thank you for having us and hope to stay with you sometime in the near future.

I stayed at Sumudu's place with my mother for nearly 4 weeks. we felt right at home. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The complex was secure and had gym and a pool. Sumudu is such a responsive and helpful host. Event hough the apartment complex was right next to a busy street, the apartment was very quiet. There are lot of supermartkets and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Sumudu's place to anyone who is looking for a place near Colombo.

Great views of the ocean and it’s a nice cozy apartment with decent amenities! The host Susan, is always responsive.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Colombo. The hosts communicated very well from the initial contact we had with them. They were professional in their services, flexible, the apartment was also very clean and the linen was good quality.

Nel palazzo ci sono piscina, palestra e supermercato e si trova in un'ottima posizione a Colombo. I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic Airbnb that I can't recommend highly enough! The location was absolutely perfect—very central and within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. It made exploring the area so convenient. The space itself was impressively clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of room to relax, and the air conditioning was a welcome relief after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare some meals and enjoy a cozy dining experience. What truly stood out was the host. They were incredibly kind and helpful, always available to answer questions and provide recommendations for local spots. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. I had a wonderful stay at this property! The view is absolutely breathtaking, waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean each day was a true highlight. We had a wonderful stay at Tamara’s place! The house was exceptionally clean, AC rooms, beautifully designed, and fully stocked with all the amenities you could need. The location was excellent and convenient, perfect for exploring Colombo. Tamara was a proactive and incredibly kind host, providing clear instructions and making both check-in and check-out a breeze. I absolutely loved my time here and would recommend this home to anyone visiting Colombo without hesitation!

Roshan's place was extremely comfortable for us. We felt right at home and had all we needed for a great stay. Roshan's place was very easy for transport in and around Colombo. The pool was certainly a great bonus as our kids loved it! Also, our thanks to Roshan for his hospitality...we both have sciatica and back pain, which got unfortunately exacerbated on the mattresses that were there. When we spoke to Roshan about this, he immediately arranged for softer mattresses and we happily extended our stay there for longer. His place is also very safe and secure.
