With two bedrooms (one queen, two singles), a bathroom, laundry, kitchenette and a smart TV, this unit is equipped with all the basics to accommodate four guests. A quick walk across the road and over the dunes put you right on the beach. When you're back, rinse off under the outdoor shower, and then cosy up for some Netflix. The space is child friendly, has air-con, WiFi, and is made to feel homely so you can sit back and relax.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooking a grassy reserve & native bush, this self contained studio features a brand new ensuite and kitchenette. Take in the beautiful view of Ohiwa Harbour and the native birdlife from the comfort of your bed or from the private deck. Make use of our kayaks and paddle board on the harbour, relax in the heated pool, or take an easy stroll over to Ohope beach for a swim. Kids, infants and pets are welcome for short stays, contact me to discuss options.

The Observatory, Semi Self-Contained Unit

We welcome you to our home, which has views of the ocean and farmland. The guest area is located on the ground floor. Only a 10 minute stroll into the township of Whakatane, and five minute drive to Ohope Beach, voted one of the safest surf beaches in NZ. The entrance to the famous Nga Tapuwai O Toi walking track is only 2 minutes from our home. If you are into astronomy, the Whakatane Observatory is steps away from our property, open to the public Tuesday and Friday evenings.
