We had a great time in Whanganui with lots to do over the school hols. While we weren’t in the house very much, it was comfortable and very well appointed for our group from 11 to 82! The backyard and games room are excellent for families.

House was well equipped and very spacious.Lovely large back and front gardens.Bus stop nearby but not many buses so we used taxis into town and back. Host was very helpful on the two occasions I called her. There were only 2 of us but would be great for a family. We enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jodie’s place for a special family reunion. It fit all 11 of us easily and didn’t feel cramped. It was tidy and clean, and when we accidentally locked ourselves out at one point we were able to call and get back in within minutes! We all talked about coming back one day, as we enjoyed the space so much. Thanks Jodie.

We had a lovely stay with two couples and a child. it was cosy and the kitchen had everything we needed. there were good heating appliances too and the photos matched the description well. it was good value and would happily recommend to others. thanks Deborah!

Despite an initial hiccup, we had a fantastic time at Tracy and Damien’s home. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully return to stay here again!

Comfortable warm home, close to the river and walks. A nice peaceful get away.

A big, massive thank you to Natalie for accepting our booking with very short notice. We were driving through Taupo and spontaneously decided to stay the night and stumbled upon her place on Airbnb. We got there prior to check in time but Natalie was kind enough to let us check in early. Her place was such a beautiful little gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our night there. Her fscilities were immaculate, had more than enough space and one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in ever. There were plenty amenities and you can tell how much love has been put into making this place wonderful. Highly recommend staying at Natalie's place if you are ever in Taupo. We had such memorable stay at Mary’s. Easy to find and so close to the lake. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable if felt like home. Mary gave us some great tips for local attractions and left us extra special treats just to make us feel welcome! Could not recommend highly enough.

Lovely accomodation with everything you could need! Convenient location, comfortable beds and not too noisey at night considering you’re right in the centre of town. Master bedroom has a window without a curtain so you do wake up with the sun.. but I’m sure lots of people love that!

We had a lovely 3-night stay at Wendy's place. She very thoughtfully put out some books and toys which our kids loved, and also brought us some yummy cherry tomatoes from her garden. It's such a beautiful spot and super handy to Whanganui. The apartment had everything we needed for a great stay - thank you Wendy!

Great host, very kind and patient. No downsides at all. Place has little extras like coffee pods etc ; owners definitely put great effort into making you at home.

Great location very close to lakefront . Lovely view from apartment and spacious inside . Comfortable, well equipped and cozy. The mineral thermal pool was a novelty and very nice on a cold night after mountain biking .

Great place just a short drive out of Taupō central. Everything was great very clean and tidy. Night one was better with no one upstairs as night 2 was a little noisy.

Jo’s place was located centrally and was very clean and comfortable. Beds were lovely with beautiful linen. Jo herself was warm and welcoming and very informative. Thanks Jo we had a very comfortable night.

A wonderful place to stay. The apartment was very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable 2 night stay. Rick was amazing to deal with and very quick and clear communication. We'll definitely return soon.

We had a fantastic stay here in the heart of Taupo. The accommodation was immaculate and Lloyd was extremely helpful. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

The place is in a perfect location with lovely views of the lake. Louise was very quick to respond to a query. Very happy to recommend this accommodation.

Walking distance to restaurants, and they will be building a Woolworths nearby soon. Was so peaceful watching the river flow by from the balcony.
