This was a great, unique spot. We wish we stayed longer. Definitely not for everyone, as there are a lot of irregular stairs down a steep hillside, but that was part of the magic. We had a roaring fire both nights, and enjoyed the hot tub which we were baffled how it was ever installed down the hill. We enjoyed day trips and the local scene before continuing north on our redwoods road trip. Thanks again!

We had an amazing three night stay at Bob's home in Guerneville in early April. The setting is serene. It is up a small road that takes you onto a wooded ridge, so you feel perched in the trees when you look out the windows or sit on the back deck. There are a lot of uniquely configured windows that frame your view of the surroundings. The furnishings and decor are also beautifully curated to give the home a warm and lively feeling. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was perfectly adequate, and smart TV setup worked well for us. We were not there long enough to make good use of the kitchen and BBQ, but hope to next time. The appliances, dishware, and everything else seemed to be in great shape. Long story short - we highly recommend Bob's home and would love to go back.

Thoughtfully minimalist, spacious and airy. Skylights are gorgeous. Hot tub is a fabulous addition. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Street is very quiet. Only minutes from Occidental. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the Treehouse! Chad was easy to reach and super quick to respond, though we didn't have any issues that needed his attention while we were there. Couple tips: Chad mentions there can be issues with ants and he's not kidding. We were careful about crumbs, but did have a box of cereal on the counter and they made their way in. To be clear, this is not a criticism of the space in any way - ants are gonna ant. We just started keeping all food in the fridge just to be safe and that seemed to work! If you're visiting during the off season, be advised many businesses are only open Thursday-Sunday. We had to adjust our stay a bit at the last minute and wound up arriving Sunday and leaving Thursday morning. Still had a great time, and there was still plenty to do, we just missed a couple things I wish we wouldn't have. Guess it's just a good excuse to come back!

Awesome clean and cozy space. Jacuzzi in the woods and the wood burning stove really made it very special.

Such a charming cottage in a tranquil setting. Only a little over an hour from the city but feels like you are worlds away. House layout was great for my family of 4 and the hot tub was such a nice addition. Will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by trees, this is the place. The house is beautifully maintained and extremely cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are super comfortable. The hot tub under the trees was just the icing on the cake. Tom was super informative and very friendly- just a great experience from beginning to end! Will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the Dogwood Cabin was absolutely amazing! It totally blew us away with its stunning aesthetics and the unbeatable tranquility it offered. The heaters were a lifesaver on those chilly nights, keeping us cozy and warm. Plus, the location couldn't have been better—a perfect hub for adventures! From wine tasting to kayaking, there was so much to explore in every direction (our longer journeys to other towns were around 1-2 hours). We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing experience!

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

The charming wooded setting with 360 views of the forest was a highlight for sure. The local community is quite friendly. There is a coffee house and grocer 3 min away despite remote location.

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria's cabin. We loved everything about it. Sonoma Raceway was an easy 10-minute drive away, and the view was beautiful. I wish we had more time to spend at this unique cabin, we would definitely stay here again.

Our little family loved our spring break at the cabin. highlights: quiet, serene space, with a creek! minimalist digs with the focus on the forest great kitchen and dining area tastefully updated, yet still rustic comfy beds extra space heaters in downstairs closet plenty of towels things to note: The shower is in a claw-foot tub and it's a hassle. The shower curtain wouldn't quite stay put, it sticks you, and it felt like we were getting water everywhere, which made it hard to reach our soap and shampoo. Great for soaking but not so great for daily showers. Stepping out over the side was challenging for my son. The wood stove is a Franklin stove. Great for ambiance but doesn't do a lot to heat the cabin unless you constantly feed it with firewood. Plan to bring some to use in addition to the provided space heaters. There weren't a lot of extra blankets available that we could find, but the heaters kept us warm. All in all, beautiful, quiet, no cell service, perf.

What a wonderful spot! Comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathroom, lovely deck, easy river access and all the toys. I very much appreciated the EV charger!! Thora was helpful and responsive. Can’t wait to return!

This was my second time staying here and it was just as great as the first time! I'll definitely continue coming back as often as I can!

Russ's attic cabin was exactly as advertised: charming, beautiful, cozy and idyllic. It truly is a treehouse, an attic haven surrounded by redwood and deciduous trees framed in every window. And yet it's surprisingly roomy and bright. It's also close to the river, all the restaurants and cafes in Guernenville and Forestville and the endless vineyards and wineries along Westside Rd. My partner and I spent a wonderful romantic weekend here and it was the perfect venue.

This cabin was the perfect little getaway spot! We loved the fire pit and indoor fireplace alike. The home was cozy, warm, and comfortable. However there was one significant downside to this property: the neighbors. Within 10 minutes of arriving we had a neighbor asking if we owned the car parked down the street (it was not; we parked where the instructions told us to), and we later had a different neighbor come and tell us to wrap it up when we were enjoying our time by the fire pit. We weren’t being particularly loud and this was prior to the 10pm quiet hours. It was a little off-putting, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our time. The property itself is welcoming, the neighborhood roads are beautiful, and the Russian River Pub is a must visit. I-Chuan Karen was very kind and communicative host and despite the neighbors, I would stay there again!

Anidel was very responsive and friendly! The cottage had everything we needed, was comfortable and clean. The on site store and cafe were awesome!!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It was serene, green and peaceful. It was a cosy log cabin with the feel of yesterday years with its vintage gadgets. We loved it and spend a relaxing weekend there. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a calming peaceful time on the banks of the Russian river. Jennifer is a great host.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Aggie’s place was clean, cozy and full of charm. Everything was easy to use and felt like care was taken when planning how the space would be used by guests. We had a wonderful time and very much appreciate the hospitality.

This cabin is a few miles from downtown, but easy to find and so peaceful. It’s an old schoolhouse built in the 1800’s, so definitely bring layers in winter. The space heaters are super helpful, but winter weather is what it is! The place is clean, super comfortable, and well appointed. Brendan is friendly and very responsive if you need anything at all. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Such a gem.
