We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Nestled in beautiful Hemlock grove is this cozy cabin. Its equiped with all the necessities of home to make your stay comfortable. Guests will have private access to Scammons Pond, also known as, R. Lyle Frost Managment Area. Its a fun place to kayak and fish. From the cabin its about a 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park or Schoodic Point. Besides Acadia, there is local hiking, nearby shopping, local restaurants, the Sunrise Trail, and other Maine adventure just waiting to be explored.

Blue Life Farm

Blue Life Farm is an entirely private three acre property with an off grid cabin. Close to lakes and rivers for swimming, boating, and fishing. It's only 20 miunutes to the costal town of Belfast, and 45 minutes to the city of Bangor. The cabin has a full bathroom with on demand hot water, kitchen including all utentsils and a good-size covered porch and deck. The cabin is powered by solar, and propane for on-demand hot water and built in stovetop and uses an efficient composting toilet.
