The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was a rainy weekend but with the hot tub, games to play, available books and plenty of natural light- it didn’t feel dreary. We commented a few times on how quiet and comfortable the space was for us. We took advantage of the local recommendations for food, wine and beer tastings and enjoyed it all! There was a guest log book and the recs from other guests helped guide us also. We went there to reconnect and spend time with each other for an early anniversary trip. (17 years next month) and we got exactly what we wanted! The hosts were attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay there again! But now I also need to buy a Blackstone grill and hot tub for home. 😂

Even though we only booked for 1 night, it was a great stay. the house was beautiful. the hot tub was awesome. the kids all loved the game room in the basement. I will for sure book again.

The home was absolutely stunning! Exactly like its pictures, cleaned to perfection, and stocked with everything you need! The host was super communicative and helpful with any questions we had. 10/10 spot I recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay 😊! This house was a perfect gathering place for our family and had lots of room to spread out. I love that the property is set back from the road and is surrounded by tree's, it almost felt like being in the Adirondacks!

We loved staying here for a weekend getaway! The place was small but had everything we needed and was very clean. The host was very responsive! Hot tub was as a big plus for us. We would definitely come back!

This place is beautiful looks even nicer in person than on the pictures . It’s very peaceful and fairly easy to find they left little notes around the house to find extra linens toilet paper etc which was a very cute touch . has a lot of stuff to do outside and inside it is the perfect little get together cabin the host is very nice helpful and attentive with any questions you may have through the stay definitely recommend

My Group and I had an absolute blast here. Host was available during the entire trip, and was super friendly!! We had a long drive so our arrival time was a little later than expected. Shelly really went the extra mile making sure the home was ready for our arrival. 10/10 Would recommend staying here. We will return!

I went to Joe's cabin for a weekend getaway to clear my mind. You couldn't find a better spot to do that. The cabin is on nearly 200 walkable acres. There is electricity if you wanted to use the lamp (like me) to read a book, journal your thoughts, etc. Though I didn't make use of it - the outdoor cooking space was spacious and accessible. There are plenty of outhouses for doing your business. And the walking paths are serene. If you're in the need to clear your head, but be close to a nice town (Ithaca is less than 30 minutes away) - book!

J's rustic cabin is a wonderful spot in the woods. The view of the forest behind the cabin is so peaceful whether it's by the fire or from the screened porch. This place makes for a great weekend escape if you love nature and want some peace and quiet. The surrounding area is as beautiful as you might expect from the finger lakes and you're close to Watkins Glen & Ithaca. J was proactive and helpful. The cabin was stocked more than we even expected, particularly the cook ware & stove setup which was great. I would definitely return.

We had a great stay at the cabin, which was well appointed and cozy. The location is rural and secluded, with is very relaxing and has access to trails, ponds, and beautiful farm views. The cabin was exactly as described, and we really enjoyed the fire pit and air conditioning. Destiny was extremely responsive and went above and beyond for us, finding us an iron since we had an event, and bringing extra firewood to our cabin. The location was also a great home base to explore the area, since it seemed to be only 20 min from everywhere (Watkins Glen, wineries, Corning museum). Can’t wait to come back again.

absolutely stunning, it's worth the small amount. there's so much to do if your an outdoors person. only suggestion would be more oven cookware (no cookie sheet, or baking pan). it's was fabulous being away from society and grounding to nature

I was in town for a weekend event and wanted to stay somewhere quiet that was still just a short drive to SU and downtown Syracuse, and minutes from shops in DeWitt etc, and so Cheryl's place was perfect for me as a solo traveler. The cabin had everything I needed, and all of Cheryl's instructions made check in and check out easy. Thanks again!

Great place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. Everything we wanted to do was 10-15 minutes away.

We enjoy staying at William's place because we are very close to our family that live in the area.We hope to stay again soon.This is our 2nd time staying at the cabin in the pines.

Our family of 4 and dog love this cabin- if we had our own, we’d want it to be just like this one. It’s exactly what we need to unplug, live more simply, and connect with nature for a few days. We love the woodburning stove, outdoor kitchen, stringing up our hammocks, and relaxing by or exploring the stream. Rod is a fantastic host!

This is the perfect stay for hiking nearby state parks of New York and winery hopping on the wine trail! Amber’s cabin was clean, cozy, and a great location for everything we wanted to do. Although the cabin does have limited amenities, the bed was comfy to sleep in and the mini-fridge was a savior! We used the bonfire outside, which did have chairs provided, and it was so peaceful and homey. Both of us felt very safe and secluded in this cabin. The walk to the bathroom/shower is short and clean! Both Watkins Glen and Buttermilk State Parks are a 30 minute drive and Taughannock State Park is a 15 minute drive from this spot. There are TONS of wineries anywhere from 5-30 minutes away, which is perfect for hopping! Amber was a great host because she was responsive and provided us first timers to the finger lakes some recommendations that we tried and were not disappointed in! Overall, we highly recommend Amber and her cabin. If we ever go back, we would definitely stay here again! :)

Wonderful stay with beautiful views of the lake! We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evenings while watching the sun set. Hosts were extremely helpful and responded promptly to any needs. Would love to stay again in the future!

I stayed in a room, the cabin was muddy due to renovations on the property. The room was just like a hotel room with a bed alarm clock private bathroom ect. It echoed in the room and didn’t have a mini fridge or microwave as the cabin. But it was an ok deal for last minute booking.

Spent 1 night at the cabin for the 2nd weekend In a row. We were booked for 2 nights but our plans changed and we weren’t able to stay the 2nd night. James and Cheryl graciously offered us a discount on our next trip to compensate us a bit for leaving early. Good faith offer for sure! Won’t hesitate to stay again in the future!!!
