The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, an electric frying pan, a fridge, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Outdoor braai facilities are provided, and covered parking is provided behind an electronic gate. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Rose Garden House shares the property with 2 other small flatlets that are rented out full time. All guests have full use of Rose Garden House and access to the shared garden between the 3 buildings.

Steele's house is a typical, rustic Rhodes house. The house is over 100 years old with rustic, old furnishings. Steele's house has a large garden with an excellent view of the mountains. The Bell River runs not far from the garden. The house has an AGA stove for warmth in winter.
