Come and enjoy a getaway from the busy world to a quiet home in the woods in Brown County, located near Nashville, IN. You can enjoy the large gathering room overlooking a beautiful pond that is surrounded by trees. Take a ride on the paddle boat and throw your fishing line in to catch catfish, bluegill, and large mouth bass. Eleven acres of trails make for a nice nature walk. In the cold , you can enjoy coffee by the fireplace that's in the large room we call, The Sanctuary.

We have a special place just for you with your own porch with comfortable furniture for sitting and relaxing.....a tiki table if you so choose to eat outside. You will be looking out into the greenery of the woods and the creek that flows in front of the house. Full comfortable living area with a bar and bar seating. Two bedrooms with queen beds and full bath. Everything is freshly renovated and ready for you to come and relax and enjoy beautiful Brown County Indiana.

It was originally owned by the Helm's of Helmsburg, IN and has been completely renovated from the exterior walls inward during 2019. Helmsburg Station pays tribute to the history of its quaint location as the original direct route from Indianapolis to Brown County via the railroad line. From Helmsburg, the rest of the route to Nashville was by horse and wagon or by foot.
