This cottage has great proportions with a large lounge and kitchen area. The smaller separate bedroom is lovely too with a bath (only big enough for one person) and toilet in the room. We found the dappled light in both bedroom and living are absolutely calming, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The outside shower is hot and extremely enjoyable.

Firstly, the pictures do not do this darling of a house justice! It is immaculate. We came for the weekend for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and what a lovely time it is. Close enough to the beach and vibey places, but secluded enough that you can enjoy the peace serenity of the place. Karen was an amazing host! Very communicative, quick to respond and friendly.

Sophie's home was perfect. The charm of a Cape Dutch, down to the delightfully squeaky old hardwood floors, combined with well executed updates that are functional and beautiful. There are incredible spaces indoors and out that allow the house to become a sanctuary from the outside world while only footsteps away from the best beaches, bars, and restaurants of Camps Bay. Whether visiting Cape Town for work or play Sophie's home is a wonderful place to stay.

An outstanding beachfront location and beautifully furnished comfortable accommodation. This home surpassed our expectations and we loved our stay here and would definitely return.

This was my third visit to Jane's and it keeps getting better each time. Can't think of a better place to visit for a detox with the family :)

Had a fantastic stay at Rob & Hazel’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Their friendliness and hospitality truly made the experience special. The location was perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, yet still conveniently close to everything we needed.

Was a cosy place for a family get away. The surrounding is nice, peaceful and weather was good too. Lovely to spend a relaxed moment and enjoy the beach. I recommend you have a car though as Uber takes time to have in the region, unless you familiarise with a local driver to facilitate your transfers.

We really enjoyed our stay at Julia's house. The house is truely lovely and well equipped. From the terrace we had a scenic view of the bay and the moutain range. You can walk in 10 minutes to restaurants, cafes and shops. We loved to go to the beach every morning and have a cup of coffee there. If we come back to Hout Bay, we would love to stay again at Julia's house.

We had a lovely stay at Jean-Paul’s. The cottage was perfect for us, clean and well equipped. The grounds were beautiful with a lovely pool. Jean-Paul was incredibly helpful in the lead up to our stay, more than we would have imagined. We would love to return. Our son loved running around with the dogs!

I recently stayed at this stunning 3-bedroom bungalow on Dolphin Beach, and it deserves every bit of a 5-star rating! The location is unbeatable—steps from the pristine beach with breathtaking ocean views and Table Mountain views (even Robben Island). The bungalow itself is beautifully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean, with modern amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. Each bedroom was cozy yet luxurious, with plush bedding and plenty of natural light. The open-plan living area and fully equipped kitchen were perfect for family meals and relaxing evenings. The outdoor patio was a highlight, ideal for morning coffee or watching the sunset. The hosts were attentive, friendly, and quick to respond, ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a beachside adventure, this bungalow is a gem. Highly recommend!
