In a glorious rural setting with spectacular long distance views to the Trossachs, this delightful converted Steading enjoys a very convenient location, being within 45 minutes drive of Edinburgh, Perth, Stirling and Glasgow. In a quiet setting situated on a private estate. Forming two sides of an attractive courtyard, opposite the owner's parents home on their country estate, each has a separate entrance and enjoys its own cottage garden, with shared use of a games room. Stylish furnishings, bright interior design and generous use of space make these cottages relaxing and comfortable retreats after a day spent exploring the delightful surrounding area or participating in the wide range of outdoor activities. Fishing, shooting, hillwalking, ancient castles and battlefields and golf are all nearby. Several excellent restaurants are within 3 miles. The town of Dollar with good shopping is 2 miles away. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. The 2 cottages can be taken together or individually OCHIL COTTAGE (Sleeps 8) This old barn has been recently converted and refurbished to the highest standards. It has a large living room with open fire and a spacious modern fitted kitchen/dinning room with door to terrace and garden. There is a utility room and WC on the ground floor. On the first floor there are four bedrooms: two twin bedded rooms and two twin or double. Two bathrooms/WC, one with a bath/shower attachment and one with over-bath shower. Services included: Bed linen and towels, cot, high chair, colour TV and DVD, CD/cassette/radio, microwave, dish washer, washing machine/dryer, small garden with terrace and garden furniture. Pets by prior arrangement. Electrical heating and logs for the open fire. BLASHIE COTTAGE (Sleeps 6) This barn has also been recently converted and refurbished to similar high standards. The entrance hall leads onto a Living Room with open fire. There is a fully fitted Kitchen/Dinning Room and Utlility room/Boot Room with door to garden. There are three bedrooms: a double and two twins. One bathroom with bath and over shower and one shower room each with basins and WCs. Services included: Bed linen and towels, cot, high chair, colour TV and video, CD/cassette/radio, dish washer, washing machine/dryer, small garden with terrace and garden furniture. Pets by prior arrangement. Electrical heating and logs for the open fire.

The Shooting Lodge Cottage

Charming cottage with all modern conveniences. Our WiFi is not reliable ( 4G signal) so if you need fast and good wifi it is not the place for you. 1 double bedroom, the other bedroom has 2 single beds. If you need more sleeping space the living room has a single sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, washing machine, cooking stove. Shower room with shower, WC and basin We are in the countryside 1.7 miles from the village of Saline where there is a little convenience store.

We are situated on our small 100 acre family farm looking out over a nature reserve with miles of walking, bike riding and bird watching straight from your lodge. The lodges are all kitted out for your arrival with fresh beds, towels and toiletries. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay with us. There is a wonderful wood burning stove, that heats the whole tent on those chillier days and evenings. With a BBQ and fire pit outside for toasting those marshmallows.

Deer Park cottage is situated within the private Scottish estate garden and is surrounded by the deer park. It is the most secluded of cottages and offers a very private and natural hideaway. Powered by wood pellet boiler and on its own water system supplied from the Ochills you can feel completely at one with nature. On occasions you can wake up to deer grazing within feet of your bedroom window and be lulled to sleep by the hooting of owls or wind blowing through the trees.

Fully restored traditional colony cottage situated in the lovely Scottish village of Dollar at the foot of the Ochil hills. Easy access to Stirling, St Andrews, Perth, Gleneagles and Edinburgh and Glasgow. Unrestricted street parking, fully enclosed rear garden, which is pet-friendly. Separate dining area off kitchen which then leads to the private garden. Local shops are widely available and the cottage has wi-fi, TV, plus a selection of books and games.
