A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.

Extremely cozy cabin in Rhodenderon. This peaceful cabin is located on Henry Creek and provides easy access to all Mt. Hood has to offer. It's walking distance from a pizza place, Dairy Queen, coffee house and various other shops. 17min from Government Camp and minutes from numerous hiking trails. Other amenities include: -Smart TV -Wifi -Shower -Fully equipped kitchen Warning- You will need chains, traction tires or 4-wheel drive, if it is snowing in Rhodenderron.

Steelhead Falls Log Cabin

Enjoy a restful time in our waterfront log cabin along the Deschutes River. Location is perfect for watching wildlife, fly fishing, quiet relaxation, and has easy access to hiking and rock climbing at Smith Rock and Lake Billy Chinook. Steelhead Falls is a a short hike away. Bend and Sisters are near. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate even small weddings. We recommend access to AWD vehicle with either chains or snow tires in winter. Dog friendly- sorry, no cats.

Cabin-Apt in the Forest & on the Deschutes River

Living room sofa, arm chair, Smart TV, Netflix, Prime; wifi, electric fireplace. Guests tend to dine out-- send me an inquiry for questions about the kitchenette; cook outside using a bbq; dining table; refrigerator, dishes; king bed, 3 twin beds, up to 5 guests, pak & play. Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
