I was born and raised in Buriram. Our small province was once seen as quiet, but now it's renowned for many things, especially our local cuisine. I strongly recommend the quintessential standing meatballs and pork leg from Lam Plai Mat. Once you are full, you can spot Sarus cranes at Huai Chorakhe Mak, celebrate at the Phanom Rung Festival, or cheer at Buriram United and ThaiGP. Most guests end up wanting to return and we’ll always be here to welcome them.

Buriram’s simplicity is what makes it unique and charming. Visitors often feel relaxed and at peace. The people are warm-hearted, living together harmoniously despite differences in culture and ethnicity.I personally recommend a trip to Khao Kradong Forest Park which sits atop an extinct volcano. Once at the summit, you can pay homage to the province’s iconic Buddha image. In the evening, drop by the Sroew Ground Walking Street. There you can pick up street food, clothes, and enjoy live music performances.
