Eastburn: Gorgeous 2-bed cottage near St Andrews

Eastburn Cottage was created from our lovingly converted 200 year old cartshed. On 13 acres of grounds accessed via a 400 metre track, Braeside Farm is tranquil yet a 10-15 minute drive to St Andrews and less than an hour from Edinburgh Airport. Eastburn is a 2 bedroom cottage (the one on the right) with a kitchen and living room upstairs and a master bedroom (en suite) and smaller bedroom (with a triple bunk bed), bathroom and WC downstairs. Front door is at the top of the steps in the gable.

Corner Cottage is situated in the heart of Falkland, Fife. A great location for a romantic or family getaway. Get your walking boots on and explore the surrounding nature such as Maspie Den, Lomond Hills and the historical Falkland Estate. Visit local cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs and of course, Falkland Palace, to enjoy the local atmosphere. The Mews Stables, a studio in Edinburgh's West End

Compact studio room created from a former mews stables with living, sleeping and kitchen areas in one space, close to Haymarket Station and the airport tram. Princes Street and the Dean Village and art galleries are 10 minutes walk away (0.5miles), the Conference Centre is 5 minutes walk away (0.25miles) and the Castle and Old Town are 20 minutes walk (1mile). There are numerous excellent restaurants and pubs in the vicinity, and for rugby fans Murrayfield is a 22 minute walk away (1.1miles).

A beautiful garden full of beautiful flowers and colourful plants will delight you from March till October. The cottage was a stable in the 17th and 18th centuries and now is a pleasant and charming place to stay. Enjoy a king size bed, cozy conservatory, blackout curtains, kitchen amenities , SMART tv, Netflix, wifi and other facilities.

The Studio at Old Lathrisk (FI 00782 F) is a ground floor apartment in a 16th century Scottish country house near Falkland (where the series #Outlander is filmed!). It's a beautiful, stylish, cosy holiday space for 2 with an ensuite shower room and self catering cooking facilities. A perfect romantic hideaway with doorstep parking, a private entrance and access to the family's large beautiful garden. The countryside apartment is set in mature parkland with a beech lined driveway to the house.

The Barn is a newly converted farm building on a quiet farm in a rural location 1km from Lundin Links. This 1 bed mezzanine is incredibly spacious yet cozy and welcoming. Finished & furnished to a high standard the property is well equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. Fully contained garden to front, and private courtyard to rear, both ideally positioned to enjoy the morning and evening sun. Only a few minutes to the local beach, pub, shops & golf courses. Pets welcome.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

'The Howff' is a refurbished farm worker's bothy in a rural location with lots of walks and access to beautiful parts of Perthshire. One hour's drive from Edinburgh, 20 mins Dundee or Perth. This authentic bothy contains one room with single bed, wood burning stove, mini kitchen unit with fridge, oven, portable hob and kettle, separate shower room, wc, basin. Linen and towels included. Although small, The Howff is warm and cosy and makes a perfect retreat. Please note for ONE only.

Holmlea is a cosy, sandstone cottage c. 1840, nestled in a quiet, pretty little road in the friendly village of Freuchie. With light, spacious, high-ceilinged rooms, Holmlea has an arty, vintage style, and is a welcoming, comfortable and relaxing space. There is free parking in the road opposite the cottage, and a large, free car park (25m away). Most of our guests tell us they feel instantly at home on arrival, and many don't want to leave! Ashtrees Cottage is in a beautiful rural location and has Loch Leven Nature Reserve on its door step. The Balgedie Toll Tavern & Levens Larder both less than 10 minutes walk from the Cottage. Its a great place to explore towns and villages around the East Neuk of Fife, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Gleneagles, Stirling and Glasgow all within 60 minute drive. Its a great place to base yourself if you are planning to explore the Lowlands and Southern Highlands of Scotland.

Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has fantastic food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. Fine dining at the Boar's Head in nearby Auchtermuchty.
