Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We are in a fantastic location on the shore of Loch Long and provides you with a base from which to explore. You can walk, run, cycle or hike the Rosneath peninsula. You can kayak, paddle board or even swim in Loch Long. We are a 20 minute drive from Helensburgh where there is a bustling sea front with plenty of choices to eat and shop. Another 10 minute drive gets you to Loch Lomond where you can hire kayaks and paddle boards or go for a cruise.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Beautiful and Stylish apartment overlooking Colquhoun Square in Helensburgh. A 2-minute walk to Central Station with regular train services to Glasgow and Edinburgh. A host of attractions are on your doorstep - shops, restaurants, bars, cinema and cafés all within a short walk. A short drive away is stunning Loch Lomond where you can enjoy water sports, hill-walking and shopping at Lomond Shores. For naval personnel and visiting families, Faslane is a 10 minute drive.

Postbox Cottage. Helensburgh

This cosy b listed cottage is situated in the heart of Helensburgh, less than a 5 minute stroll to the Helensburgh seafront and the vast array of shops and restaurants or pop in your car and within 10 minutes you can be on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Although this is a traditional cottage it's super comfy and warm , we have replaced all windows and the door and the heating is super. We have updated to fast fibre Wi-Fi, full kitchen and big wall mounted tv .

A stunning former lighthouse keeper’s cottage, Lighthouse Point has the most amazing views of the lighthouse and dramatic sea views down the Clyde approach, past Bute, towards Arran. Situated at Toward Point in Argyll, this beautiful cottage offers a luxurious stay with views to die for. If you can be tempted away from gazing out of the south facing sunroom, watching the sea, yachts and other marine traffic, it is less than two minutes’ walk to the water.

Cabin In Luss at Lochlomond

Great getaway cabin on the Banks of Loch Lomond, fantastic views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A great base for enjoying the many water sports available on the loch, hill walking or simply a relaxing break. We have recently changed the cabin to a self catering accommodation. It now compromises of a kitchen and separate seating area, fully glazed to enjoy the loch what ever her moods! New pictures will follow.
