We have stayed at another of Steve and Betty’s homes and have been happy with the accommodations! Everything was good, any questions promptly answered. Snacks and coffee are a nice touch. Nice location convenient to downtown and shopping.

The place is adorable with clean linens and awesome dishes and cups. The only difficulty is the water temperature in the shower is not consistent. I’m not sure anything can be done about it because of the heating system. We had no trouble with the shower temperature in the summer. They really are very good hosts.

I had no issues upon arrival entering the space. Easy, clear cut directions. Space is clean, tidy and perfect for a weekend getaway. Hot tub was nice with a great view of the lake. I felt comfortable staying here. I would visit again.

The space was spot on in terms of what we were seeking in location and style. The unit was exactly like the photos and a great space filled with character and cool finishes such as beautiful original hardwood floors, spacious rooms, and modern furnishings. Very quiet at night and great location in proximity to coffee shops, restaurants and things to do. We would recommend it and stay here again without question. Appreciate Brian's helpful instructions and outreach throughout the process.

This Airbnb is beautiful has beautiful grounds and we were very comfortable there. If I ever return to Hillsdale, I will be staying at this Airbnb

Lovely little bungalow. didn't really have a lot of time to enjoy everything. it was like staying at Grandma and Grandpa's home. very nice rustic appointments and all the creature comforts... can't imagine there was anything else we would have needed but what was supplied. wish we'd had a couple more days to hang out and make a fire and watch some movies but we were in and out pretty quickly. good hosting, Randy & Roxy

Sue was a delight to work with! As someone who books contractors often, she was by far the best. From one of my contractors: The Arbor View is my absolute favorite place to stay in Hillsdale! As a contractor for the college for the past six years, I’ve tried out all sorts of local hotels, BnBs, and student housing, but none of them come close to the cleanliness, comfort, and convenience of The Arbor View. It’s like having my own little slice of home away from home! One of the many amazing things about The Arbor View is its fully stocked kitchen. I could easily cook and store food for the week to save money and avoid eating out all the time. The amenities included a basket full of yummy snacks, bottled water, and high-quality coffee and tea. The entire house was spotless, and the décor, bedding, and towels were all top-notch. There were several areas throughout the house to work on my laptop with fast internet. I especially enjoyed a few deer sightings in the backyard yard.

We enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Cottage. Everything was perfect and the view of the lake is beautiful. We hope to stay next year for our granddaughter’s birthday.

My stay in Emma's home was amazing. The word I kept coming back to was "sanctuary." While clearly an older home, everything was immaculately clean, freshly painted, and more than thoughtfully stocked with anything I might have needed in bathroom or kitchen. Towels were fluffy and the furniture was super comfy. All in all a tremendous blessing to stay in this home. We were so thankful to find it for the price that we did and hope we might be able to return. Thank you, Emma for your hospitality!

Thistle House is bigger inside than it looks. The layout is inefficient: long walk from bedroom to bathroom-- 2 total in the house, but strangely right next to each other--and wasted space downstairs (esp. main bathroom). All of that, including the narrow, enclosed, back-hallway-like staircase and creaky floors lend to its old-time charm, though. There are modern appliances (e.g., refrigerator, stove/oven, washer/dryer, large TV) but no dishwasher. The heat is also inefficient. Downstairs seemed fine, but Jennifer had (correctly) warned us that upstairs where the bedrooms are would be chilly. Heating fans were available in each, but we opted just to pile on blankets, which she also had several of around the house. The only bed we tried (queen in the front room) was comfortable. That walk-in closet had lots of hangers we could use. We were pleased to be a short drive from campus in a safe neighborhood and in a house obviously well loved and cared for. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay here for Parents Weekend. The second full bathroom is a huge plus! The kitchen had everything we needed to do some cooking on site. We particularly enjoyed the back deck and backyard for some family and playtime. It only took a few minutes to get into downtown and over to the College. The master suite and bathroom were very spacious. Would recommend!

We love the cottage and all it has to offer. We had everything we needed. There was plenty of space… beautiful views, and we really enjoyed our time there with the family. We love Long Lake and plan to return as soon as we are able.

Had a weekend stay for a wedding in town. Was 5 minutes from the church and a half mile from the venue. Nice quiet and safe neighborhood. Check in instructions were clear and the place was easy to find. Parking spot and house were easy to find, despite 2 units being on one property. I didn’t hear any noise coming from the other unit. Bathroom was very very clean, i didn’t use the kitchen all too much but was stocked with the basics like cups, plates, pans, silverware, and seasonings. Linens were clean and each room had a ceiling fan. Was a great stay and would definitely stay again if in town!

Val was an amazing host. She was always available when I had any concerns and accommodated any requests I had. she also helped me get to know the area better by recommending activities for my daughter and I. I'm really going to miss the view from the wall length windows. The location is great, everything you need is literally up the street. Downtown is a 5 min walk from the condo and is so beautiful. I would stay again.

House was exactly as expected. Nice neighborhood in a great town. My company does work in the area every 2 to 3 months. This is one of the first places we see is available. Planning on rebooking in future. Thanks for a great stay and looking forward to staying again.

Wonderful place to stay as a family when visiting our child at College. highly recommended!!
