Northumberland Country Cottage, Berwick

The cottage is set in the grounds of the main house with it’s own drive and parking, garden and small patio. Ideal for those who enjoy walking, cycling and sightseeing and the tranquility of the countryside. Explore the many beautiful beaches and castles in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. The train station in Berwick has regular trains to Edinburgh (approx 45 mins) and Newcastle (approx 50 mins). A car is essential for getting about as we are 4 miles from Berwick (the nearest town).

Linnet Cottage is a pet friendly cottage situated on a small organic arable farm 10 minutes from Berwick-upon-Tweed. Linnet has great views out to open countryside. The garden is safe for pets and fully fenced. The cottage is a 15 minute drive to Cheswick Sands, one of the most stunning beaches in Northumberland. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring Alnwick, venturing to the Edinburgh Festival or visiting Holy Island. Our local pub is a 10 minute drive in Norham.

The Bothy

Situated in a quiet courtyard in the borders town of Coldstream. Ideal for walkers, golfers, fishing or just visiting the historic Scottish borders. Only 4 miles from Flodden battlefield, Kelso 10 miles Berwick 14 miles, Edinburgh less than an hour away. 2 Local pubs to chose from all within 5 minutes walk. The name Bothy means a refuge for travelers. The price includes airbnb's charges which I can do nothing about, we charge £70 per night the rest is airbnb commission.
