'the Hut': a Garden in Magnolia

'the Hut' is located in a safe woodsy & quiet area of single family homes. We are close to downtown Seattle & the waterfront (Lumen Field is 6 miles away, Climate Pledge Arena is 4 miles, the waterfront is 2.5). Many restaurants and grocery stores, as well as Discovery park are within a mile or two. It's a stand alone home with a queen bed & a private entrance. Parking is easy & the bus (#24) is a block away. Please note-for those that may have mobility issues-there are a few steps to navigate.

The cabin is fully fenced for privacy. Accommodates 2 people with Queen bed & bathroom. Includes mini-frig, micro, 2 burner stove, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, Smart TV, high speed internet. 1 parking spot. We have another cottage next door available to rent. Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.

Our cottage has an open loft style floor plan. Spacious, quiet, and light filled. 1.5 baths and 2 stories. Modern and elegant finishes on everything. Main floor has 1/2 bath off kitchen, and there is a full bathroom with shower near the bed located upstairs. It is a stand alone “guest house” in the back yard of the main house. Private parking right in front of the front door! Yard has fire pit, outdoor furniture and BBQ. A hidden oasis, right in the middle of the Ballard neighborhood.
